Ive played all the Metal Gears and I still have no idea what the hell is going on.
Killzone takes place 30 years after the last game, so no. Just have a gneral understanding of the two sides, and that they fought one another.

MGS would be good to play before hand imo, just for the history.
If anything just play 3. Since your same character in that and the next one.

It looks like M$ heard the cries and is removing the drm and always online requirement. Does this change anyone's mind now?

Won't change anything for me or most people. Never planned on getting the Xbone to begin with. Sony had the better exclusives last gen and I see that continuing this gen.

I dunno but in my personal opinion the $100 price difference is a bigger deterent for not taking X1.
PS3 was stronger than 360 but a lot more expensive, so people (especially here in america) chose 360.
X1 could of got away with being weaker again if it was same price or cheaper again, especially with good fanbase from 360. S
Even if they never originally had all this online checkin and DRM stuff, I think they were losing customers because they have a bigger weaker more expensive box.

I don't know what I should get at launch there are a lot of games I want to play but I can't buy them all and play them all.. gonna start with two.. Def have to get a mp game so bf4 most likely is one.. Debating between watchdogs and 2k.. Killzone looks fun but don't want two fps games right away

If I was Sony guy then that would of pissed me off too. I just feel like the PS4 is a better console this generation.

XB1 has nothing to offer me. I don't play FPSs so Halo does nothing for me in terms of exclusives.
