Dude is hella annoying and I'm not sure how legit he is with his news...

But he says Uncharted 4 will be announced this year at the Spike VGA awards show in December.Which actually makes sense since this is when Naughty Dog has in the past announced previous Uncharted games and The Last Of Us.He also says that he's been told Uncharted graphics 4 is on the same level or is better than Quantic Dreams tech demo showed this year at E3.Also claims that Sony is planning 2014 the year for several #4 sequels for God Of War 4, Resistance 4 made by some unknown Sony 1st party studio since Insomniac games is now multi plat.

What does Insomniac going Multiplat have to do with them making resistance? They can still make the game... but yeah like the guy said above. who wants another Resistance game?

The first Resistance was dope, IMO.  Online MP was fun as hell too.  

After the first joint though.....enh.......

Sony owns the Resistance game franchise and will want to keep it exclusive to PS4 so that is why Resistance 4 most likely won't be published by Insomniac games.

I think most of their resources are tied up in Fuse and Sunset Overdrive.

An image has made the rounds on the internet today that Santa Monica will be releasing a new God of War game on the PS4 and PS Vita.

The image shows the new game will be called “God of War” Redemption”. Since Santa Monica already released God of War: Ascension for the PS3 earlier this year, the next logical step is obviously releasing a new game on the PS4.

In this day and age, it’s easy for people to make fake images of logos. Still, I’m sure Sony would want one of its biggest first party franchises on the PS4 so it’s likely that Santa Monica is indeed working on a next-gen God of War right now.

While I'm happy, I feel like they've already maxed out the series, and now the last few have been pretty weak, even the ports err spin offs on Vita are pretty weak too I heard. They just need to keep this console only and FRESH.

This seems like they are trying to punish Insomniac for trying to make more money.

How is wanting to keep a playstation title playstation only punishing?

Unless Sony is saying you can't even make it for just playstation, and it's not Insomniac just wanting to make for multiple consoles.

What do you guys realistically WANT from this new console?

Me:
  • ridiculously fast ui. I want to be able to pick up my controller and by the time the controller turns on, I'm already gaming.
  • web surfing that is just as fast as my laptop. That is possible right?
  • rip your music to your console and be able to play any song from anywhere. Was this possible on the ps3?
  • graphics that make me want to purchase a new tv
I just saw an ad for a 4k tv on amazon.

$5,000 for a tv?

This tv had better come with a triple lifetime warranty.

Never web surfed on PS3 so no clue how that was, nor how it will be on PS4. I presume X1 will be same speed as cpu, since it is basically running a Windows OS and IE.
On PS3 you could put music on your console, but unless the developer of a game allowed you to, you couldn't listen to it during game. So it varied, but mostly you couldn't. Not sure on PS4.

The PS3 has a decent browser. Nothing compared to what you would get on a desktop computer, but it loads pages pretty fast and has flash support.

I've ripped music to my PS3 from my CD collection. Imported songs from my iPod and phone. It recognizes a lot of audio and video formats.
 
Why isn't interactive movie games a genre?
A heat, ocean's eleven, inside man, memento, or dexter themed interactive movie game. Oh lawd.
 
I'm super late on this, but did the ps3  play youtube videos right from the browser or did it have to have it's own app to play youtube like on the 360  ?

I definitely want to purchase a new TV. I'm debating between an LED and a plasma. I hear plasmas are really good for gaming and sports.

I want the PS4 to give me a reason to use my surround sound.system. I've neglected it.

I like the video streaming features both consoles are introducing this year. It's going to make the leagues that.are created on NT a lot more interesting.
