Who preordered at GameStop? I did... I plan on trading in my ps3 and 360 a couple of days before release date to cash in ...

Anybody else doing this? Or are y'all keeping y'all ps3 and 360 anyways....
 
I'm keeping my PS3 as well. I made the mistake of giving my PS2 away when I got a 360 and it bothers me to this very day to think about how many great titles I've never played.

I preordered at gamestop but gonna keep my ps3....so far GTA V wont be out on ps4 and I would keep it just to play that alone.
 
i might just get rid of the ps3 and keep the 360...... and play gta5 on the 360... i dont think there is going to be any more good titles dropping for the ps3 after the ps4 drops...

steelcity have you received any news from gamestop since you preordered?

That doesn't make any sense bro. First of all, why would you get rid of the console with more disk space? GTA V is going to be 2 disks for the 360 version. Not that many, but when you have a console where everything is easily fitting on one, why let that one go?

What else does the 360 have lined up for the post-Xbox One release? Both systems will be relatively slow. And online is of course free on PS3. But do whatever feels right I guess.

I disagree. There are a TON of good PS3 games dropping after the PS4.

Several will be coming to PS4 as well, but games like Diablo III and Final Fantasy XIV will be on PS3 first.

Its a little hard to make a list of the games, but off the top of my head:

Gran Tourismo 6
Beyond: Two Souls
Until Dawn
Rain
FF X/X-2 HD
Dragon Fantasy: Book 2
Dark Souls II

just purchase a ps2 or start buying ps2 games from psn.
 
I saw a video of some gameplay from KZ last night..... gotta be honest, I don't really think the graphics look like that much of a jump. I'll have to see more footage from other games.

Still got mine pre-ordered though. Did the first week they allowed them.

the reason why i was thinking of keeping the 360 was because i could have a little M$ left. and not have a ps3 and ps4 lol but i really dont know which one to keep for the meantime... i just want to get rid of both so i can use that money towards ps4 goodies.... but it looks like it would be smart to keep at least one....
 
If anything, it makes more sense to drop the 360 because Sony was pumping out exclusives this year after Microsoft has all but abandoned the 360.

Anyone been hearing about this light bar business on the DualShock 4? Apparently someone asked on Twitter if the light bar on the DS4 can be turned off and Sony replied that it couldn't. I didn't even think that was an issue. It's a player indicator light (probably low power consumption) and can be used with the PS4 Eye. Both the DS3 and the 360 pad had light indicators on them.

There are people complaining about wanting to turn the light off because of battery consumption on their rechargeable controllers that only require a USB cable that comes packaged in the box already. I've gone days without charging my DS3. Both the DS3 and 360 pad have about a 30 hour battery life cycle, except with the DS3/DS4 you don't need to buy any AA's or extra peripherals to charge them. And for people who plug the controller back in when they're done playing, they will never notice any dying batteries.

I might explore the latter option since the last thing I need is more hardware.

Hoping to see amazing games coming out for the PS4 around launch. My only dilemma is whether to get COD Ghosts on PS3 at launch or wait a month and get it on PS4.
 
i think the ppl complaining about a light on the ds4 not being able to turn it off are just some ppl looking for something to complain about... there is nothing wrong with the light being on...

my biggest issue with the ds3 was no matter how good i took care of them they always crapped out on me after about a year of regular use... i have carpet in my house so its not like im dropping my ds3 on tile....

with all my ds3 they be pressing buttons on the game that i am not pressing on the controller .. i am tired of wasting $50 on a controller i sure hope the ds4 will be more reliable...

my 360 controllers all still work great to this day never replaced none of them only bought extras...
 
If you wanna trade in your systems it's best to do it now at Gamestop while they have their +30percent if you put it towards something shown at e3 which the ps4 was.. Can trade both them in and get like 300 something bucks prob

Naw they havent said anything else but ima go throw 20 dollars on it today or tomorrow n just keep doin it that way

Traded my 4GB 360 and 160GB PS3 for $120 and $150, respectively. However, the EB in Canada was running 50%, not 30%
 
120 is pretty good for the 4gb..i traded in one of my ps3s got 150 as well but with the 30percent.. SwiftKey keyboard ain't got a percent sign I'm just now figuring this out :smh:

Battlefield 4 developer DICE is open to mouse and keyboard support on PS4, according to producer Aleksander Grøndal.

Bit of a scant one this, but when speaking with AusGamers, Grøndal was asked if the team would ever consider supporting the devices on Sony’s console.

He replied, “We have mouse and keyboard support for the PC obviously, but I can’t speak now specifically for next gen consoles. But if it makes sense in the Battlefield universe, for a Battlefield game, we’ll consider it.”

Does it make sense? Should DICE add mouse and keyboard support? Let us know below.

that would be useful, i remember playing BF2 with mouse and keyboard, my buddy also had one of those cockpit joysticks for when we flew in a helicopter or jet.  Controls were

man that sounds like a good deal gamestop is giving out but i cant trade in my systems now i still play them... im just hoping they will have some kind of deal when the release date gets closer for the ps4...
