November 13th is on a Wednesday this year not Saturday.

Anyone buying a ps4 should look into getting a squaretrade warranty.

Can you buy one separate from the console? I preordered my PS4 from GameStop and I don't think they offer square trade warranty?

Meanwhile, I haven't heard any news on the PS4-release for HK...

I'm pretty sure that you can.

You can even call squaretrade just to make sure.

You will need to verify that you bought it from gamestop by giving squaretrade a copy of your reciept.

Here's where you can find the specific warranties.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=squaretrade+console

This warranty would be most relevant to ppl who just preordered the console only.

Amazon product ASIN B008I62B4Q
IDK how the warranty would work since you're paying for something that isn't even out yet.

I would assume with amazon, the warranty coverage would start once you're charged for the ps4.

But with gamestop, you're charged when you preorder or do you just put down a certain amount of money?

If the latter, purchase the warranty when you have a receipt for your ps4.

The warranty covers hardware failures, overheating issues, and issues of that nature.

You can even get accidental protection. So you could purposely destroy your ps4 and you'd be refunded your $400.

You'll get your answer at TGS. I think Sony will target Asia and Japan for December latest.
If India is getting it this year, Hong Kong will too

Nice TV but way out of m budget. I'm looking to get the Sony W6 which is meant to have low input lag as well.

I have no idea on which system I wanna get. I went from ps2 to the 360. Most of my friends have a 360. I'm leaning towards the PS4 but all I'm getting is MS fanboys in the Xbone thread and Sony fanboys in here. Where can I get some solid advice?

These are the only things I care about.......

Both systems will have great games and I mostly play cross platform games anyway.

PS4 Devkit info: 2.75GHz Max clock?

Sony proudly showed off its PlayStation 4 hardware for the first time at E3, and now we're getting a peek at what developers are working with this generation thanks to the FCC. The DUH-D1000AA prototype Development Kit for PS4 is listed in these documents, tested for its Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi radios. As one would expect, the diagrams show it eschews the sleek design of the consumer model for extra cooling, a shape made for rack mounts plus extra indicator lights and ports. Also of note is a "max clock frequency" listing of 2.75GHz, and although we don't know how fast the game system will run by default, it's interesting to hear what all that silicon may be capable of (as a commenter points out below, that may relate to the system's 8GB of GDDR5 RAM) while maintaining a temperature between 5 and 35 degrees celsius. Hit the link below to check out the documents for yourself, after seeing this and the system's controller become a part of the FCC's database all we're left waiting for is Mark Cerny's baby.

Your own research. Seriously. Every place you look is going to be skewed one way or the other. Your best bet is to just come to your own conclusion. Make a longer list than the two things you have, then compare both systems. I'm sure you care about certain genres, or certain apps, or certain compatibility, the communities for each, ect.

I dont know what your financial situation is, but unless you're Scrooge McDuck, a $400-500 purchase should warrant some research on your side, not just the opinions of message board members or websites.

Honestly, I've seen people on both sides praising certain aspects of their preferred system, while people from the opposing camp berate the exact same service/feature. It all comes down to what you want.

yea I mean if all he cars about are those 2 things, he might as well get a pc. But also its kinda hard considering the consoles havent actually launched yet

I will probably have an Xbone eventually. I love Halo. I am not against it in anyway. I just prefer the PS4 at launch.

Titianfall looks off the meat rack though.
