Forgot how annoying Yunalesca is. Was definitely a little under-powered, but was still able to just beat her.

On to the sidequests.

Eva explaining the Patriots in act 3 Wasn't expecting them to be the Patriots at all, even with all the philosophers legacy stuff in 3.

But the mini heart attack I had when Big Boss's name came up on the end credits scene

i REALLY been stuck there since 09 and NEVER once thought thermal vision
i pop it in every few months
try like 10 times then move on

if you didnt see it coming that you'd be fighting Seymour, I don't know what to say.

I wouldnt mind seeing a Dissidia on PS4. PSP ones were okay, but I'd prefer big screen.

It's 2014 and Final Fantasy X is still the best game I've played this year.

Sony Santa Monica has today released the Ultimate Update for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale which resurfaces the Sony-branded fighter with over 100 balance changes.

In addition to the exhaustive list of balance tweaks, the update also delivers on the promised third costumes for Isaac Clarke of Dead Space, and Zeus, of Kraken-releasing fame. To download the update, simply connect to the game while online.

"Over the past months we’ve read every word, clicked every thread, assessed the game balance inside out, to ensure as best as possible, this balance update would not only bring a superior new challenge to the game, but also feel heavily impacted by your voice," remarked Sony Santa Monica Community Strategist Aaron Kaufman.

"Thank YOU and our “hats off” to SuperBot Entertainment for creating an incredible fighting game for PlayStation fans world-wide."

Sony Santa Monica took over post-release support of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale after original developer SuperBot Entertainment and Sony parted ways on good terms in early 2013.

Though the update represents significant changes to Sony's mash-up brawler, the company has confirmed there will be no new DLC in the future.


Microsoft announced their battle game as well.

PS All-Stars is actually fun. The best way to play it is 4 player local. Don't play on time limit. Put it on stock limit at like 4 lives and watch the intensity when people strategically save their supers or try to work to a level 3. That feel when your friend has more lives than you and you have one and still win after a long stand-off.

One of the major issues has always been balancing though. Online isn't fun anymore either. Unless you want to get worked by Kratos and Raiden all the time. The two most broken characters in the game.

I haven't done it in the HD version but I can boot up my old file and give it a go/take a video tonight.

How are you guys making the movements? I remember that tapping the D pad was the way to go.
