The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I love my digital games, i can go in and out of games with ease.  Playing SoM when i dont see anyone online.  Get invite for Destiny of D3, i can just quit and start that game.  And when we done, i can just go back to mordor.

That was me who sent the friend request, i'm tryna get back on that Last of Us.

Call me lazy but digital is where it's at.

I ain't copping a physical disc unless it's a CE, FF or Uncharted. If I have the discs of previous entries on PS3, I'll most likely get them on Ps4 as well.

Digital is only good when you;re getting it for a reduced price.

Few games like Forza Horizon 2 and Borderlands Collection are worth $60 digital(unresellable).

I don't get the game switching point. I just put my discs in a disc wallet that's right next to the console.

Yeah i'm going digital too, unless its FIFA, so i can trade it in for $20-$25 2 weeks before the next installment.

I remember getting i think $30 or $32 for FIFA 14 with some gamestop trade in promo.  Other than FIFA, the only other physical game i own is, Just Dance 2015.

i don't even like getting up to put in/take out the disc. I was pissed when my son took out SoM to put in LEGO Movie

You have to install the game regardless. The only benefit is being able to trade a game in which I rarely do.

You guys, so i think my 14-day free trial for FFXIV is up, but lets say i wanna really get into it later.  Do i gotta spend the $40 to buy the game or just pay the sub fee?  I still have the game installed.

Just wait until the expansion in May. You will have to buy that and re-sub.

Played RE for about 20 minutes. It's a little too dated for my liking. I can't remember the last time I played a game that didnt have auto-save. Not being able to discard items to pick up other items also pissed me off. Oh well, it'll go in the backlog and get finished one day

That's the problem with America. We get more lazier by the day, even with games  :smh:

I'd recommend watching reviews before copping. Now you have a digigame that will get on sale for $7 by the time you remember you bought it.

It's true survival horror not this hand handholding action crap. The inventory system stops the bullet hording.

I'll still finish it. It's fine. $20 isn't too bad, I've done worse

so yesterday, KH 2 brought me of one my greatest gaming moments ever. i was fighting """"""" & my child was watching and then """"" came and saved us. who cares about the accompanying trophy, to hear our savior say, "sora! i'll help ya! give me POWER!"

it was absolutely thrilling and the first time i've ever seen my child floored like that, gaming-wise i mean we're almost always laughin and havin awesome fulfilling times together, but this was our first gaming jaws-to-the-floor moment. I won't soon forget it nor will my child. itt was a wholly unexpected and visceral experience. now I see why ppl say KH 2 outshines the first (which was ehhh, not bad but not great).
