The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Decided to pick up that gold headset today. I'm pretty impressed. For the money they are definitely a good pickup. They are alright for music, but as for a gaming headset it's great for the money.

Went to one of gstops in my area with gift cards in hand. They didn't have the headset though.
Also I only used a spoiler because I didn't for a old *** game once and jimmies were rustled

Think about what you just said

I just find it funny that it's used like the game just came out. That's all. Not making fun of anyone.
Seriously, lol.

How could a game like Uncharted even be spoiled? It's like you getting mad at someone spoiling the movie  "Commando" for you.

I hope Outlast is good.

Whatever genres of shows/movies you watch, there are comics of those same genres.

Therefore, there are a bunch of comics that you'll like.

You'll just have to look for them.

Here are some suggestions:

Comedy: Hajime No Ippo

Psychological/Action/Gore: Gantz

Thriller: Death Note

Google search said comic titles for more info.
Thanks man, I'mma have to check these out some time. I did start Deathnote way back when they started releasing the volumes in English but my cousin stopped buying them lol.
I don't do too every side mission so much, just scouring the area for items, seeing if anyone is worth talking to, and a couple of side missions here and there. I think I used to do it because I'm used to not having many games, so I'd try to squeeze every bit of life out of each as I can. But as I mentioned, I'm sitting on 25-30 unfinished games and still have a solid 15-20 more I would have to pick up to feel like I had a true PS3 experience, so I'm about to start taking your approach.
I'm the exact same way, I used to try to finish a game completely but because of PS+ and school I just wanted to move on to the next. It's the only reason why I finished it in a couple days.

And I appreciate the spoilers because there's some old gems that I still need to hop on and would rather get the full experience firsthand.

Sitting here contemplating whether I should start up Outlast or not . Haven't even played it yet but I already had a nightmare just from watching YouTube videos of the game last night :smh:

Pretty easily. Here's an example. Remember that treasure that you're looking for which is the entire goal of the game? Well that treasure is cursed and Francis Drake wasn't even trying to take it off the island. Let's not forget the supernatural stuff that was in the game. I didn't expect that at all. Having those plot points spoiled would have sucked.

Fired up Outlast thinking there was no possible way it could be as scary as some in here are saying. I stand corrected - I damn near pissed myself opening that door after jumping out of the airduct. To hell with that ish.

Played outlast and psn minus surprisingly came thru that game had me spooked with random yells and outbursts with the wifey looking at me all weird. It actually works out that you can't fight back makes it more real. If you were in his position no way will you fight that monster

One complaint though is why that ending ?! All that scaring and psychological nightmare for that? All that for that ?!?! Haha

I am most definitely not about that Outlast life bruhs :smh: :smh: Constantly expecting something to come at me every time I turn a corner yet I still jump every time :smh:

Finally played Outlast the other night with my lil brother and lets just say 15mins in... jimmies were RUSTLED

got bioshock infinite.... my first bioshock experience, do i need to play the previous games? Literally the only reason i got this game was because EVERYONE i've talked to has said this game has the craziest ending ever, lol and i want to know it. I'm usually a chronological kind of guy but about a year ago i got the uncharted series for the first time and beat those in reverse order and didnt mind the story or how things were revealed to me.....would i get the same experience here? or is this a def "play in order" type game like metal gear?

If you play the first Bioshock first, you will appreciate the ending a LOT more. But I wouldn't say you HAVE to have played it.
