anybody have any recommendations for a headset? i had been using a turtle beach p21 for my ps3 but its does not work on the ps4 and i would like something similar to that one.

If I were you I would just wait it out personally. It would be a good idea to wait for all the conventions like E3 to take place in the year to see what new stuff both consoles will be bringing because there isn't much going on with either until march when some better games come out. I would personally go with PS4 at the moment bdcusss it seems to have some good stuff coming instead of the X1 imo

This. I'd wait until E3 in June for a definite answer. But, I'd say go for PS4 if you're going to be playing a lot of sports games and/or multiplatform games tho.

The game is not in beta. Functionally specifically for te PS4 is in "beta" and I use that very loosely.
In regards to the voice acting post I don't really understand what being technology advanced has to do with voice acting.
There's millions of lines of text in an MMO and the effort and cost to have all of that voiced and continually voiced for 10 years is just not financially sound and a waste of development resources. Not to mention you would have to voice it (for ff14) in 5 different languages.
Cut scenes should be voiced. No doubt about that. But if you're trying to say that everything within an MMO should be voiced that's just not going to happen and it has nothing to do with technology.

Sony is showing their *** right now with the multi-platform titles and (in my opinion, right now) stronger exclusives, but Microsoft isn't slouching either, so it really comes down to which exclusives you've preferred in the past, how much you care about resolution on multi-platform games, and which console your friends are rocking with. Most people I know that have both seem to enjoy the Xbox One more right now, but I think the PS4 is a better cop right now. Both are worth owning at some point though.

All that TV stuff is cool at first but (atleast for me) it gets old quick. If it wasn't for Titanfall and the fact that it was free, I would probably sell my xbox. Until the Titanfall beta it just sat there collecting dust.

PS4
Pros- Can hook up regular headphones to controller and listen to the game without playing sound through the TV. Controller also has speakers will play certain sounds from the game
Price- 100 cheaper
Swap out bigger hard drive w/o voiding warranty
Exclusives Games- Killzone, Infamous, Final Fantasy etc..
Purchase accidental warranty or reg warranty in PS Store
1080p game out da gate
PS Store app- you can purchase games and push them to your ps4 and download them while away from home
Standy mode allows your system to be updated or games loaded while away
XBOX One
Pros-YOU CAN WATCH TV AND PLAY A GAME *Future Voice* At da same dam time!
UI- Is better
Controller has really good vibration - I still prefer PS4's remote
One Drive- can upload movies to your One drive account and watch from XBOX
Auto Records certain segments of games you play and you can share (ps4 has share button but i dont believe auto records)
Exclusives- Ryse, Titanfall
Skype -from da sofa
I think it will come down to preference and exclusives. What you've purchased in the past as well. But they both are well worth it

And the thing is IMO I have the best games available for it. Forza and Dead Rising but I just don't play them games.
Playing my ps3 backlog > Forza and Dead Rising.
Tomb Raider on ps4 opened my eyes. For anybody that says they can't tell the difference between 1080p and 60fps and 720p and 30fps I suggest you play tomb raider.
The smartest thing M$ has done is paying to get Titanfall exclusive because if it was on the PS4 on the Xbone it looks like a 360 game IMO. It's still dope though.
Don't get me wrong the Xbone is cool as hell. The vibration I'm the controller is dope. And the kinect is cool when it listens. But right now I just don't see how you can say it's better than the ps4. That's just my opinion.
And I say it here because I will be attacked in the other thread.
