The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2014...to_scale_ps4_in_enhanced_uncharted_collection

With a new entry in Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed Uncharted franchise on the horizon, it seems reasonable that Sony may want to clue new PlayStation 4 adopters into the previous escapades of Nathan Drake and crew. Fascinatingly, Italian publication Games.it hypothesises that the platform holder may just do that, too, as an upgraded Uncharted Collection is supposedly on the way to Sony’s new machine.

A short translated report published by the gigantic European site speculates that a compilation containing popular PlayStation 3 titles Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception could be on the way. Interestingly, the report also mentions that PlayStation Vita spin-offs Uncharted: Golden Abyss and card game Uncharted: Fight for Fortune may be thrown in for good measure as well.

I really hope this turns out to be true. I never played any of the Uncharteds but always wanted to. Hopefully they can give them the same treatment as Tomb Raider

Even though I played all three, I probably would buy the collection and play it again lol

Damn I'm so tempted to rebuy Ghosts but already have BF4. I don't think I'll cop Infanous because it probably won't last long. May is so far away for The Show...

Killzone: Shadow Fall Multiplayer Going Free for a Week
Shadow Fall's first free DLC is scheduled for release next week.
by Chris Pereira FEBRUARY 28, 2014
Much like it did at the end of last year, Sony and Guerrilla Games will again be providing free access to the multiplayer mode of Killzone: Shadow Fall beginning next week -- and this time, not just for PlayStation Plus members.

The free multiplayer event begins on March 3 at 5pm Pacific and will run for a week. Unlike the free event in December, all PlayStation 4 owners -- not just those with PlayStation Plus, which is typically required for online multiplayer on PS4 -- will be able to download Shadow Fall and play its multiplayer mode.

The event is meant to promote the release of Shadow Fall's first free map pack DLC on March 4, as well as the variety of updates it has seen since launch, such as clan support.

In addition to new playlists being launched allowing players to play only the new maps, throughout next week there will be a Clan Community Challenge event where clan players -- including those playing with the free trial -- can win various prizes.

PS4 owners in Europe can begin downloading Shadow Fall now in order to be ready to play as soon as the free week begins. Those in North America and South America, however, will have to wait for March 4 for the client to be made available.

Shadow Fall was released alongside the PlayStation 4 last November, earning an 8.0 in IGN's review.

Yea, its similar. Here, Ill post the text.

If you want to share downloads with family and friends and you don't want them to sign in with your account everytime to use it, you have to make their PS4 the primary system for your account. If you don't know how to do this, follow these steps:

Login with your account on your family/friend's PS4
Go to the "Settings" tab
Go to "PSN"
Click on "Activate as Your Primary PS4"
Click "Activate"
Now they should be able to use your downloads on their PS4. They don't have to login to your account to play your games or use your PS Plus.

Ehhh... I wouldnt. Sell it for what, $15-20? Its a 40GB download... that's anywhere from 10-25% of your HDD
I been wanting to playing uncharted 3 again since they added it to PS+....Sucks that I only have a 40 GB ps3 tho lol, I still got an old one from when circuit city was still around.

It gives you 37 GB total

i still have to play uncharted 3 and beat it... its still unopened

sell it, then dl uc3 through ps+

Having unopened games means that you spend too much money on things that you don't need at the moment.

So he'd be able to cop a bigger hdd, if necessary.

The game only takes up 10gb-15gb or something like that.

The whole dl isn't 40gb. You can deselect parts of the dl that you don't want to download.

I suggest purchasing a bigger hdd.

Damn could have saved money on BF4 seeing as how my bro bought it already. I thought they had said it would different from PS3 so I didn't even bother trying

we downloaded a few games on PS3 and would play together online

So everyone in this thread can just use one PSN account and share?? :nerd:

Not exactly.

Sony explained the process: Each PS4 user will have a registered "primary console," and once they download games on that console, anyone — even folks using different logins — can play them. Moreover, if you've got a PlayStation Plus subscription on the account bound to your primary console, all the users on that console can enjoy "certain benefits," including online multiplayer.

So you do not make your PS4 the primary, you make the second one the primary. So it really only works with one other without requiring your sign in info. You can share on unlimited, but it has to be using your account and log-in info.

Here is the issue...

Digital games can also be downloaded onto other PS4 consoles when that user is away from their primary console, but in that scenario, only the user who bought the game can launch it. Before you start whipping up clever account-sharing schemes, a piece of fine print at the bottom of the FAQ page explains, "You can use up to 2 systems concurrently: the system activated as your 'primary' PS4 system, and one other system."

Got it got it.. So if I bought 2 ps4s for my house.. I'd only need to buy games for one of them :nerd:. Also are these digital only or no?

One last question  If I bought one physical copy of BF4 and downloaded it on the "primary account" would they both be able to play online multiplayer with each other?

 I was literally just looking at that myself.

Best response I found was on Reddit. Looks like it should be fine.

Yep you can. If you both have PS+ and you make the PS4 you own, your brother's account's primary console, and he makes the PS4 he owns your account's primary console. Then you can play on your account and the games you've bought on your console as long as you're connected to the internet, and you can play his games offline or online using your account because your PS4 is technically his account's primary console.
