The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

graphics?

maybe i didn't notice because it was free & a really fun game, but I took no issue with Infamous' graphics.
word i never did either. i dont understand the graphics argument some gamers propose. if a game is fun, a game is fun. i can STILL pick up super smash brothers 1, or goldeneye 007, or mariokart 64 and have a blast. despite all the characters looking like a geometry test. fun is fun.

Pinball Arcade is surprisingly addictive. I recommend the free download. You just have to purchase additional tables.
which is bs :smh: why would I would download a FREE game to BUY something that I got for FREE
but it is a very addicting game

It's called freebie marketing or even sometimes razor and blades marketing. It's been a very popular and lucrative business model for console and portable video games here recently.I could name several games that have raked in money hand over fist using this method. Expect to see a lot more of it.

I don't disagree with it completely because devs gotta eat too as they would like to be rewarded for their intellectual property in some capacity. I'm cool with it as long what they are asking is reasonable. It's the main reason I stopped playing Warframe. Leveling and outfitting through gameplay was not rewarding enough and the virtual currency is ridiculously overpriced IMO.

@velle
Cop the infamous collection.
It's easily one of the best sction/adventure games on the ps3

If I can find one, I'm getting my ps4 sometime this week.

I have a question, instead of that wack headset that comes with it. Can you use your Beats as a headset?

Yeah it's like $4.99 per each table or $29.99 for all 22, so essentially you're downloading a one table demo with the option of paying $30 to unlock the full game. The $30 is obviously the better value. I'll eventually invest in it though. It was well executed and seems like it could be a nice lil' party game. In a world of trophies, achievements, records, etc., I forgot how enticing chasing high scores could be. :lol:

Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I just feel like I've been playing the same game since 2 came out. The game has a lot more potential but it seems like they're more worried about forcing a new one out every fall.
UbiSoft is beginning to suck as a studio. They turned the AC franchise into Call of Duty and two of their bigger IPs aren't releasing anytime soon with Watch Dogs essentially blowing up in their face.
