The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Randomly checked out the redbox at the store just now. Last I checked they still weren't carrying PS4 games, but there was The Order.

I see they have PS4 games listed on their website now. Good to know.

Dying light players,

My friend let me borrow it while he plays Evolve... but just starting out, I am not impressed at all... do I need to play further or is the beginning a good barometer for the rest of the game?

thanks. already have last of us. if you could only pick 1 or 2 from that list, which would it be?

The beginning is difficult on purpose. Once you start leveling up, you'll start putting the beat down on the zombies.

At the beginning it took like 10 hits to kill a zombie, now I can 1 hit kill them with an axe.

tldr The lvling up system is pretty rewarding.

However if you don't like the combat mechanics, most likely you won't like the rest of dying light.

So GameStop has a policy where they allow U to buy a used game and be able to return it in 7 days for a full refund? Can anyone confirm? If so, I'll buy a copy of The Order, plat it then return for a full refund.
Yeah last time i was debating a game and the dude encouraged me to just buy it and return it if i wasn't feeling it... no biggie.

Appreciate the insight... the combat system definitely takes some getting used to... I'll probably give it a little more time but I'm not head over heels about the game.

yeah the combat takes some getting used to at first. the feeling like you should land hits but miss or you get hit when you feel like you shouldn't. and the beginning is slow kinda boring imo. if you have another friend to play with it makes the game way more satisfying than running it solo

Repped. I just checked and my local Redbox has it as well. I didn't even know they were carrying PS4 games.

for 67? 60 is already too much for a controller. 67+tax+shipping for a color is stupid. i rather it come here like they SAID it would a year ago and cop on discount at a store.
Oh i have prime so it didn't charge me tax or shipping. I never knew it was confirmed they would eventually come either.

I definitely did this a few times back when I could actually dedicate the better part of a week to beating a game.  They always ask you why you're returning it, if you didn't like it, etc.  I would just straight up tell them I beat the game.

As long as you're within the 7 day window, full refund.

You really think there are used copies of The Order already?

I know it's a short game, but it's been 21 hours.

I think most people would wait at least wait a day or two before going back to return it.
