nintendo int going nowhere although im growing tired of there "gimicks" just make a good damn system... We dont need magic wands... tablet controllers.. damn robots power pads and power gloves... they have the market just offa name and their exclusive in house games... Now if they could make a few more "mature games" they could be the ultimate power house. i mean they are kicking butt now... but they need to cut back a lil on the pukeemon crap and more games like sony does ala uc series...tlou etc...

have u actually tried the pad
i think its actually legit
and nintendo does motion and touch controls right
they dont really use it as a gimmick
now the third parties yes
but nintendo actually does it right
there probably wouldnt be any kinect or ps move if not for nintendo
also nintendo games seem to last replaying wise ALOT longer than other games
like tlou and uc can be played what 2 to MAYBE 3 times max
shoot theres people selling second son after the first playthrough
but people STILL play games like mario kart wii or brawl t
which came out like 6 years ago

i had/have a wii... but the controls etc... do run weary after awhile.. And while they make great games...tbh their first party games is the ONLY reason i have ever bought anything nintendo... Matter fact i cant recall the last multiplatform game ive bought for any nes system.... outside of waaaaaaaaaaay back in the day. I mean mariolands etc.. is cool but i and many others liked games like madworld or no more hereos to. I was just saying if they had a healthy balance of both it would be damn near game over for others..

As far as the pad im meh about it.. It at first took a littl getting use to.. and some games be it just awkwardness feel weird playing with it ala like a nba 2k14 etc.. and some games it is actually kinda cool sorta... same as how the wii and the controller and nunchuck was.. it was great cool for some games ala zelda and mario galaxy...and it sucked for others ala more traditional games.

all valid points i admit
i think we need all 3 companys imo
they all have different strengths and weaknesses
which i think benefits us the consumer
 
on another note
im still not sold on watch dogs
i think that it will over promise and under deliver
i think it wont be that successful
i think gta 5 when it rereleases on ps4/xb1
will have more sales than watch dogs
all ubisofts games starting to look like assassins creed in a different universe
this is assassins creed with hacking
same with the division
i think it will be decent but not by much
 
I love that Nintendo is so willing to do their own thing and be different. I mean, we really don't need 3 systems doing the same thing.

That said, if everybody has either an xbone or ps4 as their primary system for triple A games, and Nintendo is the machine people pick up strictly for 1st party software, then it can't continue to price it's hardware at or near the other two competitors.

I'm ok with buying a Nintendo system and only playing two iterations of Zelda, Metroid, smash bros. , Mario kart over the course of its system life. However, I don't want to pay $300 just for that privilege .

A wii u, sans the game pad for $200 would be a compelling product.

im afraid of the same thing...that watchdogs concept hype wont live up...but im rooting for it.. and as far a repetitive... how gta series or cod isnt mentioned is a mystery...talk about repackaging and selling the same game over and over.

i wish they would just expand the brand more... i mean mario zelda etc... is great but let get something new... or if they running out of ideas.. reboot update classics ala kid icarus... rc pro am... some of the classics...hell throw bubble bobble up in there... or mentioned before the ea big series aka the streets etc... make a new streets of rage or a final fight... but modern day times..

Its like nintendo said we gonna ride this zelda/mario/kong wave to damn near no water is left....

see but one thing people cant deny is that they are innovative and actually do new things with each game in the series
theres a reason their 1st party games are so critically acclaimed
not just say "hey we added a dog" like cod
have u played super mario 3d world????
bruh me my kids and girl was sitting around the tv smiling laughing and yelling at each other while playing
i honestly can we have never did that with the ps3
only the wii and wii u has that happened.
my kids are 6 and 7

oh we have spent many of nights with we back in the day...and outside of lego games etc.. me and my girls never really play ps3/4 together...all of this is true but i still wish they would branch out a little more in terms of something new... yea mario is different kirby kong is different.... but its still mario/kirby/kong... Its like as much as i love sim games ala 2k madden etc... it was nice to have an alternative aka nba jam... aka blitz etc...

Thats all im saying and even then maybe a different all together genre of games.. like before no more hereos etc... was a refreshing change for nes... Nintendo use to do this all the time on there older systems... you got your kongs/marios... then something like star fox came along.. so on and so forth
 
2K's servers should've caused a outrage like DRM did. I can't do **** in this game when their servers are down
 
getting this Chocobo rider trophy is gong to cost me a controller or two >:

and just missed by 2.9 seconds :x
