For all the vita owners in here, can you play ps1 games on it?  Also I'm thinking about grabbing a vita for the summer as i'll be travelling for work, is there any way to download the free plus games for vita in the meantime?

I'm tempted to grab Braid and all of those Crash and Spyro games, but I'll never get a PS4 at that rate, so Braid it is

EDIT: Super Stardust HD too maybe...

Yes ps 1 games will show up in ur vita download list.

However, upon glancing at some of the ps blog comment it appears crash and spyro don't work on vita?? Look before u buy, of course.

Finally yeah I've been a plus member for a year or so now?? When free vita games come out (MACHINARIUM for example), i initiate the download on my p3, but cancel it. That way, when I finally did get my vita ($147 sealed w. 8 gb memory card - thanks again BJ's!!!), I was able
To download all those "free" titles that had already been removed from the plus instant game collection

BTW vita is too dope. But no L & R 2 and 3 buttons makes playing ps 4 games a real hassel....my favorite game for vita is probably persona golden. the voice acting is stunning.

Chie is so....she's....well see for urself.

Uncharted golden abyss is as ud guess just more UC. Meh

Gravity rush is defintely an interesting concept. It's quite unique.it feels great playing it.

How they force what? Sonys had there act together since BEFORE freakin ff 7!!!

MS is a joke. Deal w. It.

Xbox does nothing to stir any sort of creativity within me.

It is.

A dead.

carcass.

Emphasis on the last three letters.

Blue Dragon was one of my favorite games. That and Lost Odyssey. And Forza passed GT I don't give a hot damn. I got into plentyof other games just can't think of them all right now. I liked PS3 more no doubt but I loved XBOX as well. Big Halo fan

You guys are trippin' though

I wanna be but I want to get the og for some reason.

I know the OLED screen is great, but I'm more than willing to trade that for thinner, less heavy, and better battery life.

I can't wait...so many games that look good

Uncharted
Gravity Rush
Dragon's Crown
Persona 4 Golden
Zero Escape VLR
Guacamelee

Yeah I wan't to get the Vita too. I download all of the free Vita games so I will have them. I can't wait to have X Tekken on the go

I am not a fan of the memory situation though.....

MAN! I'm on this fez and these beats and the digitized "kid a"-ish voice of the cube.....smh

So many dope feels.

THIS is why i game. Not necessarily for feels

It's in order to stimulate the deep primordial power of creativity, longing, and contemplation that resides deep within my soul. That video games does this takes nothing away from any other medium. It simply is.....

I feel the deep pouring of sounds within me. They are deep and they are vast. They are vibrations as high as clouds and as small and swift as field mice. To lay hands upon a controller is only to duplicate life's wonderful
Physical abilities, by using life's wonderful physical abilities....which brings me to a thought I had his morning.

(I love contemplating games and what they MEAN, but more
Importantly I love contemplating CREATIVITY....yes I just said that)

My thought was simply this. Follow me folks!!

Ok. So one thing i like to do I gaming is zooming in on textures as close as I can. It's fascinated me ever since I was first able to do it in mario 64 (greater than microshafts entire existence)

Another fine thing to pass the time is have a game with a large open world (like say, gee, I dunno fallout 3 the greatest (greater by far than fallout 4)) and view some faraway object and strafe so as to see said object slowly but surely "pivot".

What does this have to do w my idea? Nothing I could just talk about games all day, honestly. LMAO

so well yea I guess it has SOMETHING to do w. My idea.

So if that's what I like doing most in games what are some of my favorite pass times IRL? I like watching ppl (including myself) move.

When we all move we tend to to do far more than what is we intend (oh my dear....these thoughts are REALLY starting to stir...SMH....I love being me....)

Love being you and stop drinking blood!!!

So neways. If how we MOVE has un-intended movements (such as say, reaching for a glass har full of medicinal herbs where your arm is the primary piece but yet your toes are most CERTAJNLY Not w.o. Their purpose....)

I want a game where i control all of that. To get deeper. I don't think it could happen in these current control. There's just so many paths that need to be activated in order for such control to happen. But maybe just MYABE some team could do it

I dunno have L2 be able to alternate spinal channels/priorities LMAO I dunno that's the best current solution I could ome up with. But I know if it was executed properly....

And that's not all. This evolution from pressing up on joystick moves u forward etc, is not altogether different from our conscious evolution from matter to what really matters.....just think about it.

Help me help us.
