that game still goes for $400+ new on ebay. I never got to play it, but i'm definitely down for another RPG for my vita.

I think they both have some good titles but the popular choice is obviously the 3DS. I'd say go look at the games they both offer and then decide.

Its decent; netflix, hulu, wwe network, crackle, IGN etc. X1 has it beat as of now as far as entertainment goes

meh i was thinking about getting a 3DS before PS4 came out, and i thought, meh, Zelda, mario and pokemon are really all they have and they keep recycling the games. I know they're all great highly rated games, but its still Link, Mario, Pokemon, or some spin-off of those major titles...

Yea I had a XB1 and sold it because I needed quick cash for an emergency and I didn't play it at all, but I did use the extra features.

Yup I'm at that point with the 3ds as well but besides remote play nothing catches my eye. Pretty much anything on the vita can be played on the 3 or 4

Vita was an impulse buy for me while my PS4 was being shipped from amazon. Don't regret it at all, played through most PS+ games available since December, has apps like Youtube and Netflix, remote PS4 play (haven't used this much, but it works), i even party chat with my buddies with the Vita.

Being a JRPG fan Id go with 3DS for Bravely Default. Vita has some good RPGs too; Persona 4 and Ys but there nothing like a traditional turn based JRPG

Well on second thought yea those vast classics may be on there but he'll want ds jrpg hits and tere r many.... Tough cll. But j still say vita
+ u can always get a 2d or 3ds down the road at retail. Not so with vita oled screens. The price might go up on those after these final pallets of og vitas clearance out. Just sayin

depends what you like to play
I have both an xl and got a vita with my ps4. After I beat pokemon I've been playing my vita with remote play. I haven't spent any money on games for my vita just enjoying PS+.
That being said I'm going to be hooked on Kirby 3ds next friday and One Piece on vita in may so it'll be good. let's not forget SSB this summer either!
