The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Hope this means they'll just go back to their mid 2000's Need For Speed formula. I would love for them to make a Underground or OG Most Wanted / Carbon type game. Those were great. I miss being able to customize my car and free roam the city , and the stories, while extremely corny, were fun

Yes please. Would love another underground.

The Cover Athlete for NBA 2K15 is...
League scoring champion, MVP to be the face of the next NBA 2K game.
by Ryan McCaffrey MAY 6, 2014

Newly crowned NBA league Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant has been named the cover athlete for the next iteration of the NBA 2K sim basketball series.

“It’s something that I’ve been longing for for a while," Durant said on the conference call announcing his cover apperance, "and I’m just grateful for the opportunity.”

Durant was just named the NBA MVP after finishing as the runner-up in the voting for the past three seasons to last year's NBA 2K cover man, LeBron James. He has also won an Olympic gold medal and appeared in one NBA Finals so far in his career. He also claims to play a lot of the NBA 2K series.

“I begged them to put me on the cover," Durant said when asked what 2K had to do to get him to agree to be on the cover. "I really think nobody plays the game as much as I do. I wanted to be a part of it.”

Asked what he enjoys most about the series, Durant said, “I enjoy playing the myPlayer mode. Taking your guy through a season, getting drafted…I feel that’s how it is as a real NBA player. It’s about the journey.”

And does he play as himself and his Oklahoma City Thunder teammates? “I never play with our team for some reason," he answered with a laugh. "In my house you have to pick a random team and just play. That’s how we see how good you are.”
Don't worry CP3, they will love you again in 2K16.

I'm in the minority, but I hated Rivals and loved Most Wanted.

Fan feedback will help Ghost Games “define what the experience is.”
by Mitch Dyer MAY 6, 2014

Need for Speed Rivals developer Ghost Games says it needs to do “a much better job” with the fans of Need for Speed going forward.

The studio aims to accomplish something “dramatically different” for the series, and to that end, Electronic Arts and Ghost Games will have “more open conversations” with fans ahead of the next Need for Speed game’s release in 2015.

Nilsson says, “We need to help define for [fans] what the Need for Speed experience is,and they can help us define what that experience is. Then we can stay true to what that experience is.”

Nilsson is already spending time on the phone with hardcore fans about the future of EA’s games. This is part of “a big movement inside EA, within every brand, really,” to engage fans in a transparent dialogue about development. “That definitely is part of the reason we’re going to do things quite dramatically different to the Need for Speed brand.”

Make underground 3. K. Thx. Bai.

not srs , but it's been a while

Talk to me about it? You have X Tekken?
Yeah man I downloaded it earlier but I really haven't had time to sit and enjoy it just yet. I've been ripping and running all day. From what I saw so far I think I'm going to get a grip, the card fills up fast, and the r2 on the touch pad takes some getting used to.

The show is the ****, knew it would be.

1st game I played online, I beat dude 16-0, gave up 1 hit and had 20 strikeouts.

2nd game I played a dude in a madden league, pitched a perfect game with 20 strikeouts again haha

Vita gow collection worked for me from psn on the vita

is it the PS3 titles or the PSP titles? i have 1-3 for PS3 but never played any of the PSP versions like Chains Of Olympus..

I'm in the minority, but I hated Rivals and loved Most Wanted.

man they need to do another underground. bring back the drag races :smokin imagine those in next gen glory!!!

Need for Speed Rivals was not for me. The graphics were great but I hated how people could just join in your races even though the option could be turned off. The cops were were merciless on that game

you couldn't even crusie without being in pursuit. The last NFS game I enjoyed was Underground. I played Carbon but can't remember if I liked it or not. I'm not a big racer fan but I would like just one racer to throw in every now and then. DriveClub is free so I'm gonna see how I like that.

last NFS game i played before rivals was Carbon on Wii.  I liked the controls with the nunchuck and wiimote.  Game was fun too
