Yea reviews for that game were very subpar, I'd majority of its sales were from people who just wanted to complete the trilogy.

E3 has gotten continuously worse over the past couple of years. Even with the PS4/X1 showings last year's show was pretty lackluster. If that list is true this one will be one of the worst

It started off really slow. I can appreciate them building story elements, but it was a bit meandering. And a few of the "X will remember that" seemed inconsequential. Also, the loading on this episode seemed pretty bad. Thought it froze a time or two.
Aaaannnd that's literally the only criticisms I have. The last half of the episode more than made up for the first half. Some hilarious character reactions/moments. A new character who is pretty funny. A couple fairly big choices. And more gore than I think we've ever seen if you choose a certain path.
Best episode of the season, easily.

Eh, it's early, resolution doesn't necessarily matter to alot of people.
