Is TGS over? I can't complain because we got a release date for Type-0 HD and a confirmed demo for FF XV but I was surprised when I woke up this morning and didn't hear about any new titles. It seems like they're just putting out new info on titles already confirmed or that was revelaed at their teaser presser earlier this month.

I think TGS goes on until the 21st. Announcements from different publishers kind of trickle though on their own time.

Never played Final Fantasy, am i missing out?

Same. Can I just pick this one up and play or is there a deep deeep story line. I mean it's the 15th game right?

They have several threads that tie them together, but other than numbered sequels (X-2, XIII-2) they are their own contained story. You could pick up X or XIII and play it without having any other knowledge.

You can wait for FFXV. It looks like it may be taking battle ques from the MMO, FFXIV. 

If you want to try and play  a few out of the back log, they are some of the best games ever made.

FF VI is the best game of all-time imo. So that automatically makes it the best FF game, way ahead of its time.

So Bloodborne and Evolve both drop in the same month, looks like a week apart.

The Order is scheduled for Feb, too. We'll see about that though.

Evolve is gonna flop.

Ive wanted to play FF games since 7 when my best friend had it for Dreamcast i believe it was. Cloud was that dude but i couldnt get into the turn based battle system. Hopefully the XV demo is enough to convince me. would any of you guys compare it to Diablo 3? thats another game i wanna try out but dont wanna waste $60.

also what do you guys think of NHL15? i read in the AM paper this morning that the modes are stripped down from previous years but that demo got me hooked and i dont watch or play hockey. so easy to pick up and play and the graphics are dope also the variety in the fan models.

What makes you say this about Evolve? ...the gameplay videos look pretty solid to me.

No. Diablo 3 (which is an amazing game in it's own right) is a dungeon crawler and is loot-based. 

The only aspects I'd consider similiar would be fantasy setting and the need to grind a bit.

SCEJA "New Game" Something Special, Will Force Gamers To Buy PS4 in Holiday 2014, "There's Still Something": Insider

Some fresh information has just arrived on today's rumor that Sony Japan will announced a brand new game for PlayStation 4 on September 21. Well known industry insider Shinobi602 via Twitter has revealed that there is one "announcement" still left from Sony at Tokyo Game Show and this recent SCEJA new "Game Reveal" might be it.
