I don't want to start another console war in here, but....
We are all under the general consensus Sony has been dropping the ball this fall/winter, yes?
With that $349 price tag I think X1 sales should eclipse the PS4 by January. I mean sales by month, not overall sales.... that may take a bit longer.
Why is this important at all to the average person? I think Sony being in 2nd place is when we see the best stuff from them. Sony in 1st seems to do just enough to stay there, as would any company looking to make profit. But when they are behind, that's when it benefits us the most.
Can we discuss this without getting anyone banned? Or nah?

I think you're right but I think MS really got screwed up with was the launch of the MCC if that thing ran as it should've i deff would've said the same thing as well. Also we don't have any big games for the holiday season as well. The only bug exclusive we got was LBP3 and while I like it, it doesn't compare to Sunset Overdrive or MCC but I think early spring the PS4 is gonna do great as long as there aren't many delays with the new exclusives droppin

^ I agree. With CoD (mostly played on XBL) and Halo (nobody knew it would be broken, except maybe 343
) dropping, the only exclusive Sony gave us was LBP3. I'm not knocking that game but Sony could have came with something else
That being said I don't think MS will catch Sony in overall sales. IMO their 2015 titles aren't as appealing as Sony's. They have Quantum Break, Gears Collection (rumored), Scalebound, Fable Legends, Crackdown 3 and Halo 5. Of all those titles, only Quantum Break and Gears Collection are for me. Sony has Bloodborne, The Order, Uncharted 4, Until Dawn, No Man's Sky, Persona 5 (PS3 also), Hellblade, Rime and they have AAA studios that haven't even announced anything yet.

Dropping the ball on games or deals?
Sony's 2015 lineup is looking better than MS' in my Opinion. Bloodborne, Persona 5, The Order, Rime etc.. and we've also got the Playstation experience coming up where more games will be announced.
I don't see Crackdown or Scalebound hitting until 2016.
The X1 should sell more in November because of the deals they've had and also with Halo MCC releaseing but they had no choice but to do that since they were losing ground very fast. Titanfall didn't help them win in march and neither did dropping Kinect few months after.
MS also have the luxury of taking hits since they have money.
Also from what I've been hearing it sounds like most of Sony's shipment for the month will be the GTA V black friday bundle which makes sense.

Just copped Middle Earth SoM from the PSN store for 29.99 no tax, no line, no body odor.
Bought it for the ps3 accidentally, but customer service already handled the refund and re-bought it for the ps4.

what's this BS that my ps4 is saying I need playstation+ to play multiplayer now. a few hours ago I was able to play no problems now it's telling me I can't play any games online smh

Try Mercenary Kings, Stryder, or Resogun.

I like Resogun especially playin it with a friend can be lots of fun. I like Stryder but the controls on it are kinda awkward imo and has some difficulty to it too. And Mercenary Kings I straight up hated. I couldn't get into it at all it wasn't for me at all
