The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I just read on Twitter that Capcom will be hosting USF IV tourneys during the PSX and that Capcom and Sony are partnering up for something.

USF IV for PS4 :nerd: :nthat:
I would love that but most people seem to think it's Sony having another crack at an all starts fighting game but this time bringing in the big guns at capcom to develop it and not in the party fighter style like the first game.

We'll see in 2 days time hopefully.

I want to get back on Destiny, all I have is a level 24 or 26 Titan. I just have too much of an interest in other games at the moment

LR:FF still has to be beaten, started over and get thrashed by the first boss

Games saves are usually minimal, unless its a sports game, or a game like Skyrim.

Game data is what takes up so much room; the install data. I'd suggest leaving any saves you have of games you may come back to down the line, but deleting the game data if you need space. If you play it down the road, you'll just need to re-donload the install, but all your progress will still be there.

You can also take advantage of PS+ saving your game data in the cloud, but it fills up fast.

deleting the game data is done by pressing options while on the xmb over the game and selecting delete application?

But there are no games on PS4 so I dont know why your Hard drives would be full. :rolleyes

yea i never got that. those who say that IMO impulse bought the system without doing their research. im content with my multiplats, few exclusives and indies I have. ive NEVER had nothing to play. i think 2015 will finally set the systems apart from each other tho. only game i expected and didnt get was DriveClub (well the PS+ version) and maybe The Order 1886.

My interest in Destiny has faded. Stopped at 28 with my Titan. I can't keep doing the same strikes, missions, and raids continously. There are way too many other games out there to spend my time on.

I need to stop coming in here for the week.  Ya'll gonna spoil PSX announcements for me.  I'll be back on Saturday with updates from the event.

thinking long term what if i delete a game and then want to go back to it but the online servers are down so there will be no way to get the updates of the game. Ill be stuck with the bugs.

Anybody in here play LBP3? I have an unopened copy of GTA V that I might exchange for it.

Impressions on GoT Episode 1?

SE's New Game

"Actually, right now, we are readying a new role-playing game for home consoles that isn't a remake," Matsuda is quoted as saying. "In December, we'll start with making an announcement."

As far as I know this is

Please be true!
i loved The Last Hope. I didn't realize that it was really hated by the hardcore SO fans, SO 4 was my first one and I thought it was great. My second favorite JRPG last gen, behind Lost Odyssey.
Ok I can't read anything else or this PSX will be boring to me

Yea. On PS3 there used to be a game data utility, but I am 99% sure it has been replaced by just having the titles always up on your XMB.

That's true. All I'd say to that is it is very rare that would happen. I loaded up Shaun White's Snowboarding a few weeks back. It's from 2008 and it still loaded all the updates fine.

It's a method that does have its draw backs to be sure, but being only a year in, you should be okay until we can have external drives or a new method is introduced.

Now we just have to wait forever

What do you think Level 5's next game will be? You think we'll get Ni No Kuni 2? It sold very well and I'm sure it'd do great on PS4.

Give me what Hybrid mentioned and NNK 2 as announcements and I'd be extremely surprised, impressed and excited

Tomb Raider seems like a good candidate for a ps+ game in the near future.

Bro, between my PS4 and my Vita I have TOO MANY games to play smh. I still have the two games I bought on Black Friday in the shrink wrap because I'm still on GTA. I have yet to beat a PS+ game except Resogun. I'm at the point where I don't even download the PS+ games anymore. I just send them to my library to download later. My backlog is getting crazier and crazier. Next year is gonna be a problem :smh:
