I forgot about this game. I remember watching X-Bone game play footage awhile ago and it looked insane.

I think you misunderstood the point of "captured on playstation 4".  That is not to say that what is being show is actual gameplay; it is to state that whatever is being shown (cut-scene or gameplay) is what you can expect on the system hardware and its not a uber-high scale PC model.

Otherwise, you end up with a Watch Dogs situation where, even though the game looked fantastic, people were still upset at Ubi because it paled in comparison to the high-end PC footage that they had been parading around at games shows.

I don't think ND was being deceitful, I think you just extrapolated something from that disclaimer other than its literal meaning.

I'm a married man with kids and my kids have picked up my gaming hobby so we buy a lot of games 

Outside of family activities i.e. movies, going to the park, trips etc. I don't do much, I'm a homebody.

As far as games, off the top I need to finish;

AC Rogue, Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor, Forza Horizon 2, Destiny (raid + strikes), Team ICO Collection, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2, Lightning Returns, Final Fantasy X-2 HD, Batman Arkham City, Kingdom of Amalur and there plenty more, damn near every game to release from PS+ within the last couple of months

Nice. Hopefully he doesn't get into sneakers. $200 a pair.

98% of the games you listed are also on my backlog.

Lightning Returns was $15 on amazon, so I copped.

I haven't even finished XIII or it's sequel.

You're probably right about the old GTA games (I got them when they were on sale) but I plan to knock out the AC games.....eventually.
