This isn't a hack per say. It's just overloading a server so it doesn't distinguish between a legit login and something fake. This really isn't a security breach. But this is a problem as a whole with the internet nowadays and with everything being connected or somehow dependent on the internet. Too many ways to take things down by amateur work.

Agreed. If they gave us a dollar for every time there was an issue with PSN we probably wouldn't even have to pay for PS+ anymore.

If so, did you not assign your PS4 as your primary console?
