The video game industry has been experiencing high levels of traffic designed to disrupt connectivity and online gameplay. Multiple networks, including PSN, have been affected over the last 48 hours. PSN engineers are working hard to restore full network access and online gameplay as quickly as possible.
From time to time there may be disruptions in service due to surges in traffic, but our engineers will be working to restore service as quickly as possible.
If you received a PlayStation console over the holidays and have been unable to log onto the network, know that this problem is temporary and is not caused by your game console. We’ll continue to keep you posted on Twitter at @AskPlayStation and we’ll update this post once the problems subside.

Agreed. So glad I picked up a Wii U during the sale. It easily had the best games in 2014. Every single 1st party/2nd party game is incredible. Online is flawless. No complaints.
If Sony doesn't have a good year in 2015, I'm probably going to sell my PS4 which I really really don't want to do.
PS4 and X-Bone only had good multi-platform games in 2014 which is dumb to buy when you can get them on PC where they have better graphics/performance, higher resolution, etc.
2014 was one of the worst years for Console gaming in recent memory and a lot of industry leaders are predicting a Console Video game crash after this generation. With a mid-level PC producing better performance and the cheaper price of games, a lot of people are jumping ship to Steam. Here's hoping Sony starts taking online security more seriously and both Microsoft and Sony start pumping out better games in 2015.

I just got back from Target and they have that BOGO 40% off in stores. Garbage because all the games worth copping are not in stores, great marketing Target.

Personally I'm not too worried about PS4 in 2015. So far The Order, UC4 and Bloodborne are games that I'm sure I will enjoy quite a lot. Throw in 3rd party games like Naruto, FF Type-0 HD, The Division (maybe 2015
), Arkham Knight etc., I'll be more than satisfied in 2015.I doubt I'll ever get into PC gaming. Games look better and probably play better but it seems like a hassle if you don't know what you're doing. If I could just walk into the store a cop a PC that would let me play everything, then maybe but I don't have time to build a PC. The day console gaming "crashes", I'll probably stop gaming or I'll just replay old classics til the end of time.

yeah its a force its almost not enjoyable I cant read anything or follow the mapsaye I thought I was the only one. I'm like damn why is this happening. What's even worse is then you're in first person view while in the car, OMG the cell phone text is unreadable. I kept trying to figure out why it's so damn illegible, playing with the display settings in the game's menu, especially that "Safe Zone" option. Nothing works. And no I'm not using a CRT TVGot me sitting close to the TV just to read some words

Yes you can play dragon age offline just turn off the internet connect or unplug your Ethernet cable.
