No way. The butthurt will resonate across the world if that happens. Sony will have this fixed within days, especially since Destiny is coming out in about 2 weeks.man what if they can't get the network back up in time for destiny?

I doubt it. When the network went down for 3 months that was a security breach. They hold to overhaul everything, part of the wait time was the rebuilding process. This is just flooding. wouldn't be surprised if this is handled by tuesday/wednesdayman what if they can't get the network back up in time for destiny?

I'm not even worried for FFXV. That will definitely come out at some point in my life.
I'm worried about what's after that because it doesn't look like they have things together currently.

Just because they haven't shown anything recently, doesn't mean they're not hard at work. Remember, when they showed that big FF XV reveal, we knew NOTHING before hand on what the game even looks like. They dropped a ton of information instantly. Final Fantasy is their lifeline besides publishing games. They are putting their all into this game. Me, personally, I'm not a big fan of Nomura's art, but he has won me over with some of the games he worked on. Ik they are hard at work but the thing that annoys me with them is when they show gameplay so early on in te development and yet it takes so long for them to have the game come out. I love SE and their work but when I speak for myself it just makes me worried about the game and it's release because we all know these games ain't coming out anytime soon so to see this news is disheartening to say the least

No it's not. That's how digital copies work.

Yeah if you are buying something over PSN or downloading a free gram because of PS+ I would guess that there must be a way of verifying you can play the game and that is through going PSN so if PSN it does make sense
