I haven't played 2K football in 10 years so I couldn't give you an honest answer. I'm not saying 2K wouldn't make a good football game but I know they wouldn't put Madden out of business. Have you ever played a 2K game online? Those servers are trash. I know people who would Madden every year even if there was an alternative. The Madden name sells itself.

Played APF 2K8 online in leagues up until 3 years ago. Solid no lag. That said, Madden sales have declined year over year since 09'. THE BIGGEST sport in America is being outsold by NBA 2K14 by a WIDE margin. Madden sales because it's the online NFL game we have. Put NFL 2K back in the fold and you'd have sales parity within 2 years. 2K would destroy Madden within 4 years.

Imagine if NBA Live had exclusive rights to the NBA. :x

Too bad Madden 08 came out in 07. And Madden 09 came out in 2008 and outsold Madden 08 on fewer consoles. Then Madden 10 came and people realized they were being bamboozled. So that theory doesn't work. People need there football fix but Madden is a piss poor product.

Yea I personally haven't bought it since 2010 and I use to buy it yearly. I love football but the game has become trash without competition.

2K did horrible with the MLB and NHL licenses... I dont know why everyone thinks NFL would be good. 

clearly you never a played APF 2K8 which is Still leagues better than Madden. Not to mention the production values of NFL 2K5 which again STILL crap all over Madden.

It's 2014, but I'm sure they'd hit the ground running. Seven years? I'm sure all that code works just fine. Tweak  a couple graphics and names, and we got a 10/10.

I am big into fighting games an am looking to get competitive in Street Fighter. Can I copp Ultra on PS Now so I can play on PS4? Are the servers all connected? As far as online play goes?

Madden's defense and offense are good, the user just has to know what adjustments to make and understand his personnel. Users need to understand coverages and how to make reads.

And this is where you are incorrect. Madden does not give a true representation of football AT ALL. GRAPHICALLY Madden is 10x what 2K is. Gameplay wise and production wise 2K >>> Madden. Look up APF 2K8 vs Madden and see for yourself. I can go on about this all day. Madden doesn't use route based passing. The ball is tethered to the receiver so adjustments don't matter.

I won't advivce you to get it on PSNow. Fighters generally require no lag at all and while I've heard nothing but good things about PSNow. A PS3 will be the better option.

You can't buy either, only rent for now

target has a promo, $15 off cod ghost if you preorder a game (was $20 all last week and changed today)
the price is $49.99 but I price matched walmart. usually you cant get a price match and promo done together. but I threw in the preorder card slick last second. girl at the register did a double take and asked me how the price drop so low I told her about the preorder promo. the 10% off is my connects employee discount. the other 5% is if you pay with a target card
