Better sell your PS4 and buy an X1. It's a full exclusive being published by Microsoft. It ain't even going to PC.

No, it's not. Square Enix invested too much money into the Tomb Raider franchise to just sell, at best, 2 million copies on the Xbox One. The new Tomb Raider sold about 7 million copies across all platforms and Square Enix was STILL disappointed in the sales. It's already common knowledge this is only going to be a timed exclusive. Remember, Ryse was a "Exclusive" too. Xbox One is too far behind in sales for any exclusives to even break even, forget about making profit.

TR was good and since I have an X1, I'll most likely cop but Uncharted > TR imo. TR did have some good combat tho. I just think it's kind of messed up since TR started on PS and now it's a Xbox exclusive but it's the world we live in now.

That demo with the e-sports commentators was awful, but I'm still looking forward to the game.

You're kinda right. SE might not have wanted to go head to head with Uncharted 4 so money to get it exclusively timed on the Xbox plus a later release on the PS4 actually benefit them.


EDIT: Nope, scratch that, it's full exclusive.



Seeing how the Tomb Raider remaster sold twice as much on PS4 than on XBone, there must have been a lot of money involved.

According to the Dorito Pope Geoff Keighley, Microsoft isn't publishing Tomb Raider. It was a listing error on the web. Square is still publishing, so it'll probably come out on PS4 and PC sometime in 2016. If Microsoft was publishing, I don't see how it wouldn't be a lifetime exclusive.

Although COD hasn't been the greatest of series, I'm still a fan, and besides NBA2k, it's the only yearly series I follow.

I wonder how the hell I'm going to balance Destiny, Advanced Warfare, Driveclub and 2K15 this holiday, not enough time in the day :x

But it is crazy how the game sells 5-6 million copies on all systems (before Definitive) and SE says that it underperformed. So then they decide to put it on 1 console.

Holiday 2015 = Nov, Dec 2015. It'll release for PS4 Jan, Feb 2016, assuming it's not a MS exclusive. Maybe it could release later in 2016 as the GOTY or Definitive Edition with all DLC included. I'm sure that would rustle a few jimmies 

I agree though. MS must have paid a decent amount of money to convince Crystal Dynamics to release it on MS consoles only.

That Tomb Raider news sucks. The reboot was very good and I was looking forward to the sequel.
