The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Now that we got DRIVECLUB I think we may start to get full retail games. I'd say Knack will be next month followed up by AC IV: Black Flag and maybe even Tomb Raider. I agree though, this particular doesn't look as good as I had hoped but I'll D/L all the titles and give them a chance like I normally do.

Console #1 - My console 1) Create user ID with Friends name 2) Login to PSN with Friend's PSN information 3) Activate as your primary PS4 4) while signed in has your friend download his games. Once they've started to download you can logout of your account and login into your PS4

Console #2 - My Friend's console 1) Create user ID with your name 2) Login to PSN with my PSN information 3) Activate as your primary PS4 4) he stays signed in and he will start downloading your games and he can sign back in under his account.

You buy a console for yourself. You will primarily use this console and ALSO have a very solid internet connection. Then you have a good friend who will split game prices with you. When you open up your brand new PS4 and begin signing in, at the end it will ask you if you want to make this PS4 primary. Select "no." Now, any game that your account buys will be on your PS4 but you have to have an internet connection to verify the game license. Then go to your friends house. Sign into his PS4 with your account and this time at the end select "yes" and make his PS4 your account's primary. Then download whatever games you want and let him to back to his own account. Now he can play ANY games you've downloaded on his own account without any online connection at all
Is it too late to do this if I already set up my account as primary? Or if my friend did that already?

Is this an exploit or a new feature with Sony gaming systems? (Game Sharing?)

Spelunky PS4 !!!!111!!!1

Ps plus on ps4 is so bland, tired of indy ganes

Spelunky is one of the greatest games of all time. You should be thanking Sony.

Nothing bland about it.

I stated in the xb1 thread that I think all these indie games that are currently being developed were made soley to be on ps+/games with gold.

Supposedly, both m$/$ony have at least 100 indies in development.

Arkham Asylum is a great game though.   Besides that, i havent played any of the other games and we get a PS+ version of DRIVECLUB.  Ya'll trippin, psMINUS has been great

If sony and MS are developing them then they are not indie.

I watched them. I don't get what you mean.

Indie= independent. These are games that would be made on way or another. Sony and MS are just giving them more love, which makes a lot of sense. There are a lot of great indie games. The biggest game from the last generation was an independent game. MS just bought it for 2 billi.

A lot of mid-tier studios closed down last gen. If it weren't for indies these consoles would be starved for games.

You want Sony and MS to "develop" 20- 50 million dollar games to give away for free or something?

The PS4 isn't even a year old yet and current game library isn't that vast.

Don't know what you were expecting.
this what else can they give us? its better than nothing and something to try out don't see any problems with these games since i don't check for them so its nice to be able to play them for free

Good looks breh! Just did it.

I had this idea for streaming.

If multiple people in the same party are streaming if you could switch between players on the fly.

Like a squad in destiny or ppl racing in Driveclub.

I wonder if its possible.

No just deactivate your system and tell your friend or family member to do the same with their ps4. Then follow the steps from the beginning

I doubt it.

Reember Driveclub was meant to kickstart the Instant Game Collection and draw people into PS+ when the PS4 launched but it got delayed and the PS4's still becamepopular
This is just them keeping their side of the bargain but I doubt we will see retail games until next year when games start rolling in.

Everything is all 2015

if you watched m$'s/$ony's 2k13-14 e3 conference, you know exactly what I meant.

You mean 100 titles in development across the board?

I found GTA Ballad of Gay Tony and Lost and The Damned bundled together for $10 today. For those of you that have played it, is it worth that price? I didn't like GTA IV so I'm skeptical
both r better than reg gta4 imo

I'm gonna try them out, I didn't hate the gameplay (driving was terrible) so much as the uninteresting story. I heard these have great stories in them.

All kidding aside, I am just tired of people thinking Indie Games = Bad Games.

Indie games have some of the best experiences you can have in video games. They cut out a ton of the issues people have with AAA games (DLC walls, rehashed story/gameplay, annualization, ect).

I can almost guarantee there is an indie title out there to suit any gamer. You just have to have an open mind and try them.

Sony allows indies to self-publish and lent dev kits for a limited period of one year. Sony gave its Authoring Tools Framework as a free, open source download available on

GitHub also made "fully-integrated solutions" for PS3 and Vita available for Unity users. usually these tools cost lots of money so these indies would need to shell-out the

cash themselves to remain indie or give in and find a dev to give them the money. After Sony announced their indie program MS changed theirs because of the horror stories

indies started to tell about dealing with MS. Xbone can be converted to a dev kit for free after signing up somewhere and they also started to give some of their dev programs

for free. But Microsoft still needs some work with their program. D4 released this month with no advertisements and it randomly released during TGS without the dev

knowing.

Q. Whoa, that is bad. So why is the game selling so badly?
A. It was basically sent to die. It was unceremoniously dumped on the Xbox One’s store without a release date announced in advance. D4 has received essentially no marketing whatsoever. This leads me to believe that the publisher, Microsoft, lost faith in the product and told the team to halt production and just release whatever was finished. Sadly, this game will live or die on word-of-mouth alone. The game’s director, Swery, has stated that his team is not actively working on further episodes at this time and that the sales of Season One will determine if they are allowed to continue the story. Naturally, this episodic story ends on a cliffhanger.

Oh yea, I remember the turning every XBone into a dev kit news but completely forgot about it. What happened to that?
It was big news at the time.

I agree with empire about the indie games. Creativity is abundant with these games.
Games lie Journey Guacamelee, The Unfinished Swan.
