Yes, realistically though we'll never get that.

But a lot of these indie games have actually been a lot of fun.  They really remind me of the ps1 days and like empire said add-ons/dlc are non-existent and I find them to be much more fun creatively then anything else thats released since november.

Oh and arkham asylum was much better then arkham city in my opinion; just more focused and polished.

I watched them. I don't get what you mean.

Indie= independent. These are games that would be made on way or another. Sony and MS are just giving them more love, which makes a lot of sense. There are a lot of great indie games. The biggest game from the last generation was an independent game. MS just bought it for 2 billi.

A lot of mid-tier studios closed down last gen. If it weren't for indies these consoles would be starved for games.

I'll clarify what I posted. I meant that $ony/m$ have partnerships with indie devs.

Devs. who have indies in the works that are coming to either console.

Some indies will most likely be exclusive or not e.i. Warframe.

As ddouble stated, indies can self publish.

 I already own spelunky, dust, and asylum.

I've stated that I own a lot of the indies/games that have been on ps+ for several months now.

Given that I'll buy indies when they're not free, why are you trying to make it seem like I'm against indies?

I love indies. I'll buy less of them this gen, since m$/$ony are buying them for me.

I can't stand this trophy ********. I wish there were an option to turn it out (is there? ) I probably have a total of 20 trophies and I damn sure don't have any gold or platinum or whatever the best trophy is


I'm hoping for a buy 2 get 1 free promo from a retailer so I can get 2k, fifa and wwe.

No, that's wrong. I had a 360 account before I had a PS3 and loved going after achievements. As an RPG fan since I was a kid, the grind in completing games as much as I can has always been enjoyable to me. 

Why you think I ever said 360 achievements were a bad idea is beyond me. Maybe you have party chat mixed up? I still hate party chat, even with it being on PS4. 

As for anyone else, that was 8 years ago. Are they not allowed to have their tastes change? And if you hate trophies so much, why does it matter to you?

This isn't the first time you have brought this up. It obviously matters to you.

Summary of stream from Neogaf

- He says that the E3 gameplay battle footage was playable, but an earlier version. I believe he said you can still play the game on that level, but it was showing off more advanced moves and so on. I think he said it was a prototype concept that they are working towards in development.

- With regards to the "hold button for awesome" comments, he says that the defensive stance drains MP, so you can't just hold the button forever and be invincible. There are also more technical aspects of evasion which are more advanced. For attacking, you hold the button for basic combos, but there are also advanced action aspects with regards to timing and attacking in certain directions, or influenced by equipment.

- He confirms you can jump in the game. The battle system in FFXV is Active Cross Battle (AXB), and Noctis is the only playable character. You control Noctis because the entire battle system is built around him and how the other party members interact with him.

- He also talks about the the weapon switching too. Instead of active weapon switching during combat, it uses player settings prepared in advance. This is likely part of the gambit-like system he talked about before. The weapon used is automatic based on the conditions, but it sounds like the player has control over how those conditions are determined.

- There's at least an attack button, a defend button, a skill button, and a jump button.
- Holding defend to evade drains MP, doesn't last forever.
- The attack button is used for basic combos, weapons used are context driven based on equipped weapons and context settings the player selects.
- The skill button is used to do special attacks for the main weapon equipped.
- There will be advanced evasion and attack techniques depending on equipment and control input.
- You can use the sword barrier defensively in battle, you can do short warps in the battlefield, you can parry attacks.
- There will be lots of tactical aspects in battle for core games, like elemental weaknesses and so on.
- Noctis is the only playable character, but his unique combat style and how the party interacts with him in battles is what drives the entire battle system.

They also plan to do more streams like this to keep us updated and answer any questions

For the guys that got in, how did you like The Crew beta? I watched people stream it on Twitch and wasn't impressed with what I had seen. Graphics didn't look too good but that may have been because of the stream. As soon as I saw the cops it made me think of NFS Rivals

Been playing Shadow Of Mordor the past 2 night for about 4 hours and really liking the game so far.

Funny thing is I never even seen any of the Lord Of The Rings movies.

Also comparing this game to Demon Souls or Dark Souls isn't a fair comparison. The game has more elements and was inspired from Batman Arkham Asylum & Arkham City and the Assassins Creed games.

I had no intentions of getting it at all, I'm good with Forza Horizon 2 and DRIVECLUB. I just know that there are some die hard racing fans out there and just wanted to get thier take on it
