People are sleeping on it. Europe will most likely have a bundle geared towards families.
MS owns Minecraft now though so they could counter with that I think and like you said they have the COD bundle, even though it isn't cheap like the others.
It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Those were premature statements from when the Wii U wasn't doing so well.
I think Nintendo was trying to strike lightning twice. The Wii had a lot of factors that made it sell 100 million last gen. The low price point and the motion controls were new and exciting. I even knew a lot of people who thought the Wii was comparable to the PS3 and 360 in terms of power. If it's half the price of the other ones and plays the same games with motion controls, why would I get a PS3 or 360?
The best games on the Wii made minimal use of the motion controls. The Wii had AAA Nintendo games, a few AAA third party games like Mad World and No More Heroes peppered in there, but mostly shovelware. The Wii Fit/Wii Sports audience weren't going to drop $300-$350 on a Wii U. Those analysts that can't tell the difference between the casual Wii audience and the 360/PS3 audience saw the hardware manufacturer that sold the most machines last generation struggling and assumed that the others would do just as bad.
Microsoft and Sony put out machines that use traditional control input methods first, focused on core games, and have anything else be a peripheral. Both of their systems are selling great. You don't need to reinvent the wheel. I still plan on getting a Wii U to play the new Zelda, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart, Bayonetta 2, etc. Because I love those games. I don't care about motion control or touch control. Nintendo just needs to focus on what made them great and put out their games without any nonsense, because their games are always among the best games available.

repped! this man speaks the truth. this is the single biggest gripe I have with psn. I will get messages notifications yet have to wait 15 minutes for them to actually show up in my inbox.

Some would say that the problems with psn are over exaggerated and that you're just complaining about a small thing.

I agree with him though. I'll get the notification that says "____ sent you a message" and it won't be there until a minute later. Sometimes I forget to re-check and end up not reading the message until way later.

I recently bought a second ps3 so im good with the media capabilities but i was curious. Waiting a few years until i grab a ps4 most likely. But if you can download movies and play them like with ps3 i may grab a ps4 earlier and leave the 3 with my girlfriend so i was wondering . I assume they will allow it one day but who knows

The update most likely won't fix those problems since it's all server base. It doesn't deal with the console itself. The problems are kind of exaggerated a bit it doesn't happen at the same time to all users but it sucks regardless.

No recent news about the ps4 being able to do that has been announced.

I havent had a nintendo device since i think gameboy advance. Bought a wii u and DS and im enjoying the **** out of it. I just got sick of the constant FPS
I became a sony kid because of crash, spyro, gex, ratchet, jax. And games like metal gear solid and onimusha. I had to switch it up. I dont think the ps3 library held a candle to the creativity shown on ps1 and 2 even though the media capabilities make it top notch and the graphical jump from 2 to 3 is staggering.
Sony plus nintendo is the best outcome. I hated the wii. The wii u is one of the most underrated systems ever. Messing around on the gamepad with the knicks in the background>
Did not no xb1 has the movies function. I know they had it last gen. Im suprised sony is resistant. But the way they are selling their system i guess they can do whatever they want
The lack of the movies on usb functiom, us not a huge amount of games i care about. (Every huge game seems pure hype and 3nds 7p being mehhh, the light on the controller, and paying for psn are why i didnt get a ps4 yet. I know i will though

Ratchet & Clank is my favourite series. Still patiently waiting for Insomniac to bless us with a proper reveal for the PS4 remake. If you like 3D platformers and have a PS3 I'd recommend the Ratchet & Clank Future games and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Puppeteer is 2D, but it's pretty cool too. The LittleBigPlanet games have some really creative community levels.
