It's been about 2 weeks now that i've had my PS4 and it's great i'm still getting used to it. This thread helped me on making my decision to pull the plug on my ps3. Finally got the PS APP to work good and it can use some update on things but it compliments the PS4.

I went to Target today I got Destiny, Assassin's Creed, and COD day 1 edition. I went to Walmart and some fat hungry girl behind the CS knew I was just about to pull a fast one on her she rolled her eyes and all that extra stuff. They took all the games except for COD day 1 edition she scanned it and said it wasn't in their system. So I just shot back to Target and picked up TLOU. cant wait til next week I'm copping GTA and Dragon Age.

I know he prefers PS but I never really hear him bash other consoles. I always thought he was neutral with a PS preference

I did remember him saying he was thinking of making the switch due to the xb1 having a glossy look.

Do you have to actually spend real money to progress through the story?
I doubt it.

There would be even more backlash about ACU if that was the case.

My understanding is that purchasing helix credits helps you progress through the story faster because you can unlock stuff quicker with it, but it isn't a necessity for story progression.

Ubisoft needs to chill on the annual AC releases. That'll only happen if the negativity surrounding ACU significantly affects sales.

Am I the only one looking forward to the new Socom h hour that's dropping in March? A director who worked on the first 2 socoms took to crowd sourcing to get the initial funding and will be releasing on pc as well. The game is supposed to be a faithful sequel to socom 2.

I've constantly heard that socom was booty after #2 but I was introduced to the series with #3 and frankly I thought that game was fantastic and put an absurd amount of hours online. So much so that I never got around to playing 1 or 2. That being said, im hype for this on next gen hopefully it comes to light

I was a huge socom 2 player. Put tons of hours in. Didn't play 3. Interested to see the new one. Socom was always much more slower and strategic than most shooters

Thinking about copping a Vita on Black Friday, has anybody tried remote play for Destiny or any other games? How is it and is it worth it?

Would like to know this as well. Still unsure how it works. Do ypu have to own the game on both consoles?

I prefer Sony for sure, but I go where ever the RPG's go.

I will buy an Xbox One, and have almost done so on a couple of occasions,  but the price cuts we've been seeing have me thinking I can hold out for a bit longer... as does my addiction to Destiny. My nephew visits often and brings his Wii U so I usually am able to try out the newest games there.

I just think the best time for being a video game fan is when all three companies are neck-and-neck. Having to offer deals, release better games, and find creative ways to differentiate themselves from competitors benefits the consumer. Paying for console exclusivity, whether it be days, months, or years, is not in everyone's best interest.

I'll rip on a few of the Xbox guys that jump into this thread, but its all in good fun. I think it's brutal that their biggest launch of the year is riddled with MP issues just as much as I hate Driveclub's issues, or Assassin's Creed's issues. It's quantity over quality for these developers right now and it's costing the people spending their hard earned cash.
