Destiny goes down for maintenance today and comes back up on Wednesday, right?
How do you guys feel about Destiny so far? Is it living up to the hype? Day one cop?
I like the co-op aspect of the game. I want to see more of the PvP; different weapons and maps. For me, I can hold off on copping day one. I'll probably try and wait for Target to do a B2G1 and pick it up with a few other titles.

I hope when the beta comes back we can pick up where we left off. Don't wanna have to level back up to 8 with the same missions again

They can also fall off random enemies in the wild or other missions. Just keep killing and you'll pick one up.

I was under the impression you could vault the weapons and any character you create could have access to the vault...

Having played hunter and warlock.. I'm leaning on making the Hunter my main guy once the full game drops. But I'll probably max all of them, since the max level is only 20(
) and seeing how fast it is to level it won't really be a problem. I like the titans special ability cause it's an aoe and you can just do it on a pile of dudes on A or something. But that hunter gold gun is too badass.

You can do that too. Weapons, armor and other loot can all go into the vault and any character of yours can access it.

As long as it applies to the class right? (for example a warlock armor can only be used for warlock)

What is the ability called on warlock when you throw that purple ball by pressing L1 and R1? Is that the special ability?
Im currently running with the Nox Cantor Fusion Rifle and the Jiggoku SR3 Scout Rifle, any1 can recommend anything better

If my titan puts armor into the vault and I switch to my warlock he'll see the titan armor in the vault but he won't be able to use it.
The vault is the same for all of your characters but character specific items can't be used by everyone. That's my really long way of saying yes

Yeah, Devil's Lair will give you some nice loot. Was running around free roam mission and loot was crap. Started running the Devil's Lair and got the Jigoku-SR3L I was waiting for. Also ended up getting some Rare armor that of course I can't use yet because I'm not level 10.
Anyone get Legendary drops from the Iron Banner? I got a Legendary Hand Cannon but of course I can't do anything with it until level 20. Just glad I got my Legendary Hunter's Cloak from the Iron Banner.

The Gold Gun is the hunters special that one shot kills cats. You got a timer on it so you gotta find people quick, or you shoot it 3 times and it ends.

WOAH. Thats crazy. I was hoping we'd see more legendary stuff being dropped besides weapons we can't use yet. Really hoping any legendary stuffs you pull like these ships/cloaks/banners will at least be carried over to the real game.

Whats the point of switching ships? Are there going to be missions where we can use these ships? We only see/use them when we are flying to other planets
