The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Anybody excited for the virtual reality stuff? I almost forgot about it and idk if I'm to crazy about it. I think its cool to see what it's gonna be like but I doubt I'm gonna buy that Project Morpheus

The last original IP (non FF or a sequel) that SE developed on a console was Last Remnant in 2008. 2008! Let that sink in for a minute.

That cannot continue and hopefully it won't this generation...

Anybody actually beat Last Remnant or Infinite Undiscovery? Remnant was so damn confusing from what I had seen and Infinite was kind of simple and boring.

You posted this already when I asked before..and that doesn't help
It's a link to hdds that people have used in their ps4s.

Such as this,

http://www.amazon.com/gp/community-...ity-reviews&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&idx.asin=B00EDIU5IW

and this

Amazon product ASIN B00EDIU5IW
You just need a 2.5 inch hdd.

What else are you looking for?

There won't be a release of a ps4 specific 2tb hdd.

This should suit your needs.

IDK much about SE, except that they're based in Japan.

In the anime/manga industry, the japanese get their content before the u.s.

In some cases, way before.  Yuyu Hakusho aired in america 10 years after it's japanese air date.

Dragon ball z aired in america 7 years after it's japanese air date.

This trend exists due to dubbing, licensing, etc.

This trend still exists, except americans get their content 1-2 years after the japanese. The newest dbz movie is just airing in the u.s., while it's been out for a year in japan.

Maybe SE also has to do through some of the same obstacles that those anime/manga companies go through to get their content to the u.s.

tldr

cut them some slack
That makes sense. However, It almost seems as if the content of the video games haven't been developed fully yet. I mean who's to say KHIII isn't 10% deep, or if FFXV has only 5% completed? That game in particular will have a 10 year anniversary in 2 years, and it didn't even release yet.

But ultimately, we just have to wait.

That last link is what I needed

Crash reboot incoming...

Now this is what I want and can't wait for! When the rights to it were sold off in the fall I having been hoping that this was the case. I mean lets be honest, Crash was THE face of PS1. They should have made Crash the Mario of the Sony platforms.

The hell!? None of these things apply to Square Enix at all

Ive really being doing well knocking games out from the backlog. I have 5 RPG's (Tales of Symphonia and DotNW, Game of Thrones, ME3, and FFX-2) up soon... so there is about 3 months.

I think he was talking more along the lines of the anime and manga

I know that, but he wants to draw similarities between companies getting anime/manga to the US and SE not releasing games. It doesn't work because neither Japan or America are getting the games (one glaring exception is FF: Type Zero... still heated it never got localized).

Okay I just wanted to make sure everyone was on the same page

Your question was answered by my first statement.

I would assume that the dubbing process that SE does prevents the game from being released asap.

After 80 hours of gameplay I finally finished Persona 4 Golden. Got the true ending and must say it is a great game.
