I really think that Morpheus will be a awesome product with great content, but it'll cost too much for it to catch on. Who knows how much the headset will cost, not to mention you need the camera for it too.

Yeah, they need to make it cheap. I think the Occulus Rift Dev Kits are only $250 which I think is fair.

seen it before. u dont notice nobody in our age group gets used? he also pushed him. i just dont see this being SO immersive that i forget that im standing in the middle of a room, dry, and im holding a controller and instead am now frantically hoping my friends pull me out of the water. it may be fun, AND immersive. but shes OVER-selling it. this isnt sword art online or .hack.

I'll post some other impressions soon so that you can get an overview on it. I'm just glad that it works technically.
No price yet and they are still calling it a prototype but it's most likely next year because of all the games that are being announced for it.
As for the price, Sony knows it needs to be priced right to be a mass market item, especially after the $399 moment they had last year. My guess will be $250 maximum.

Have you ever played Resident Evil 2? Don't matter how in touch with reality people can get, but when you zone into a game, you'll get shook. Could never forget the Licker crashing through the 1 way mirror in the interrogation room - had me and money cousins jumping and screaming

The download is gonna take forever, I'm guessing a ton of people are trying to download it at the same time...about 15 mins in and only 30 mb downloaded so far, says I have 85 hours to go and 29 mins for the update

Yea i just got home and apparently on top of the hardline beta I have the destiny alpha as well. However my downloads are going fast. 5 minutes in downloading at the same time, destiny has 22 minutes left, and hardline has 21 minutes left. I'm in Tampa Florida

Not a big fan of white electronics, but the glacier white DS4 is starting to grow on me. I noticed recently that you could buy white replacement shells/housings for the DS4 on eBay and Alibaba/Aliexpress. I think they might be the same as the new controller because they look slightly 2 toned like the glacier white DS4.
