FINAL FANTASY CREATOR HIRONOBU SAKAGUCHI REVEALS NEW JRPG
Coming to smartphones in Japan this September.

BY LUKE KARMALI

Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi has revealed a new JRPG coming to Japanese smartphones this September.

Famitsu reveals that Terra Battle will be heading to both iOS and Android devices later this year, with information regarding a western release still unclear.

Though Sakaguchi is arguably best-known for the Final Fantasy series, he's since added a number of other impressive JRPGs to his name, including Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and The Last Story.

When Microsoft teased it had an "awesome Japanese studio" working on a title for Xbox One, many hoped this meant Sakaguchi's Mistwalker Studio was about to crank out another Xbox exclusive but it seems, for now at least, that's not to be. Besides, anyone who watched E3 this year should be aware the company's comments referred to Platinum Games, the developer currently working on Scalebound.

it should be a ps now/plus free to d/l or maybe 9.99...this is just as bad as mgs: demo aka ground zero

Nah this is still a full game that many new ps4 owners have not played. maybe 29.99 but not 9.99. And never free thats an insult to the quality of this game. Also ground zeroes to do everything in that game took me like 14 hours so its not as short as you think. The main mission took me like 2 hours but all the easter eggs and other missions took the majority of my time.

How so? This is a full game with all DLC included. MGS: GZ was a prologue.
its an old last gen game...with nothing new outside of better graphics... I get alot of ppl havent played it, but for us who have i think it is a little pricey and add to the fact lack of new current gen games.... Not saying its their fault, but still its the same as grand theft V, i liked the game and all but not retail price just to play it again on a new system.

Yeah I am buying the remastered version. I want to get into the MP as well.

I need to pick up Blue Dragon again.

Don't buy it then.

It IS expensive for a game you may have already played. But they aren't making the game for you, they are making it for those that missed it on PS3. I'm sure they will see secondary sales from people buying it again... but the audience they are trying to reach is new adopters.

Yea it's already known that a lot of 360 folks jumped to the ps4. So it's a lot of people who have ps4''s that have never played TLOU.

The $50 price is not bad including the DLC if you've never played. If you have played just wait a month or so for the price drop. I know the price dropped quick on the Remastered Tomb Raider. Just pay attention to Amazon.

Take into consideration that the PS3 version still retails for at least $29.99. The Left Behind DLC is $14.99. The additional DLC packs are $4.99 I think and you get 3 of those I believe. For someone who hasn't palyed this game, $49.99 is a great price. If you played it already and don't want to spend that much again, don't buy it.

Not only thy but I think $50 is a great price for everything being included. I'm happy I didn't buy any DLC because I knew it was gonna come to ps4 soon but good looks from ND to give us everything at once

I'm getting TLoU on PS4. Only played the story on my boy's copy, so I never got to try the mp.

It was the best game of the previous generation and only came out a year ago.

What was that game they announced at E3? It is supposed to be one of the best games ever. Came out on the PC in like 97 and was a black and white comic style game. Anyone remember what it is called?

Grim Fandango, one of Tim Schafer's first games.

It's one of the highest rated and best reviewed games of all time.

I love them. I am going to pick up the one that just released down the road, but they drop in price so fast Im going to wait a bit. This damn mortgage has me on a budget.

They arent revolutionary or anything, but they are alot of fun. The first two were more about sniping and using stealth, while this new one looks like it allows for a bit more variety in how to go through a mission.

I'm sure Jason will pick it up as well but only come in second to all my high scores, as usual.

Also, does anyone remember the first PS game they played?

My first one was called Kileak: The DNA imperative or something like that :wow:

I thought it was off the chain. But when I saw Battle Aren Toshiden I lost it. I was like 'life is a wrap'

I was a Nintendo kid until I stayed at my brothers house for a week while my parents were out of town.

He had the first Gran Tourismo, Jet Moto, and Crash Bandicoot, along with a few junk games like Frogger and some other random garbage. I played a ton of each, but on the Friday, he took me to Blockbuster and I rented Final Fantasy VIII and Vandal Hearts simply because I liked the covers....

The Monday my parents returned I old my N64 to a pawn shop for like 50 bucks and used some Christmas money to buy a Playstation.

The first game I played was wild arms! Funny story is when I begged my mom for a ps wild arms was no where to be found so I "settled" for final fantasy vii. Btw when I went to play ffvii I didn't have a memory card so I would always start from the beginning haha.

I can't even remember the first game I played on PS2 or even PS3

But if I had to take a guess it was probably Crash Bandicoot.
