Well they are competitive MP shooters though. And they are different but keep their unique formulas in tact. Halo and COD generally have really well written campaigns too. There is mindless killing bit at least you can feel rewarded for it.
But Uncharted 1 is an old fashioned adventure game that had average gunplay if even that. Good thing everything else was top notch.
I feel the same about Bioshock Infinite. The gameplay was average for a FPS but the music, story, and environment was up there with the best.

true but they are still in most part played as mindless walk around shooters... Its not like most ppl are out teaming up trying to unfold a plot/mission or some sort of storyline while playing titanfall/cod/bf multiplayer mode online... its essential is find some stranger/friend online and run around and aimlessly wander around and shoot each other bomb each other until someone finally dies

Yeah, it's a dumbed down version of Tomb Raider 1-3 minus actual puzzle solving with better presentation, awesome set pieces and production values. I'm gonna boot up Tomb Raider : Anniversary once I finish Metal Gear Rising.
Yeah, it's fun as hell. I decided to play on PC cause I unhooked my PS3 and it's constantly at a smooth 60 FPS so far. Being able to use DS4 controller on PC is a life saver.

by this standard...what isnt a mindless shooter then? sniper? every shooting game i can think of thats worth playing involves walking around shooting. im not even sure what you guys are looking for anymore. even bringing up teaming up makes it seem like online has something to do with your opinion. i hope not.
honestly, i dunno what some of you expect from shooters anymore. it sounds like yall buy shooting games but are tired of shooting....

Speaking of shooters though. I have no complaints about them. I feel like they all bring something different and I love switching it up.

I've been enjoying it but have you out down any real cash to buy stuff? That's the only thing from making me like the game because I don't wanna use in-game points just to have stuff unlocked for a day or two. That's the only downside to the game

No I haven't. Played it to get like 2000 in games points. You can save points and them rent whatever for 24 hours. So what I do is I just play when I plan to play over a couple of days and I can play how I want with the stuff I want. I finally realized that that is the point of how it is set up

I haven't beat the campaign. It is enjoyable but not close to a Halo/Cod level. The MP is still strong enough. Matches are full.
