What's Up With Ignorant Mentalities In School?

Hate selfcentered group members. Had a dude like that in Gen Chem III. This dude Abhi watched montages of super smash bros on his iPad while we tried to figure out what the chelating effects were. Always said he didn't know what was going on and loafed around at his end of the lab bench. No one gave him credit for ****.

Best thing you can do is do your own work and ignore the people that dont know how to work collaboratively.

I didn't understand that mentality in college. You're PAYING for the education. Maybe if it was a pointless/easy GE I'd understand but still...

Not everybody is paying, some are getting paid.

>D

yeah, this dude is PAYING to have this attitude in college and chooses to not excel or succeed. it's his life. don't waste your ammo on losers like this . . .

 yeah, I pay it no mind, all I know is that I'm on a mission to get mine. :pimp:

Some people are oblivious and don't understand how to interact with and treat others. It will eventually catch up to them in life.

Slightly related but I coach at a high school, one of my players didn't know that Mexico was a country AND she's hispanic. She also thought Africa was a country, sadly based off my experiences that's hardly even shocking.

I refuse to believe that any high school student let alone someone with hispanic heritage doesn't know that Mexico is a country. Which brings me to an equally troubling question, when did ignorance become so cool? I know its not new, it was common when I was growing up, people thinking it's genuinely cool to be blatantly ignorant.

Same as me. :pimp:

I have the opposite problem in college. I hate the nagging perfectionist who bothers you at all parts of the day because they are freaking out about which font to use. I'll do my part, and let me know how it ends up

 . That feel when the professor says "okay groupwork :x"

Chick who was in my group was a perfectionist and she told me which part to do  . Went into class the next day and she goes "hey did you do your part". Im like "yeah of course". And she goes "Oh well...i did it too just incase you didnt" :smh: .

I absolutely hate those kinds of people. It's worse if the whole group is getting the same exact grades. That's what get me heated. :smh:

You should confront him and tell him that you're in a group and everybody is pulling their weight and his stupid *** should as well.
