I've seen niners fans say Alex Smith should be traded for Revis and now Eric Berry... y'all are delusional.
 
^ When did anyone thats been watching football for more than two seasons ever say Revis or Berry would be traded for Smith?
 
My brother is a Chiefs fan haha... We got a decent amount of picks in this draft... Hope they aren't afraid to use them for someone who they think can help us right away

This is my worry. We have, what, 14 picks in the draft? And if we trade Alex for one, we will have 15?

I am sorry, but this is OD. We need to trade these picks for players or to move up in the draft. Our team is loaded and we absolutely do not have room for 15 rookies. Plus we have the rookies from last season. More than half of the 15 players would end up being cut anyways, so whats the point?

I would much rather take a few of the picks and package them with Alex to move up in the draft. There is no point in receiving a 4th round pick for Alex when we already have all these picks that probably wont make the team. I hope Baalke has some magic up his sleeve.
 
I'd definitely like to see a few of those picks moved, and still hoping a deal can be reched with Goldson

Pretty sure no matter what team we rob, Alex will go for a 2014 pick, Baalke stays looking into the future

The last this secondary needs is to lose its most consistent contributor. Goldson played like a top 5 safety this past season. One of the better ball hawks in the game today.
 
If this was madden 2014............I would trade alex smith, a 3rd, 5th, 6th and two 7th rounders for a top 5 pick, and 2nd round pick with automatic acceptance :lol:

That would leave us with two first rounders, two second rounders ....two 3rds, one 4th, two 5th and two 7th

then trade the late first rounder for an early 2nd and early 3rd rounder

then trade the 3 2nd rounders for a top 10 first round pic...........that would leave us with two first round top 10 pics two 3rds, one 4th, two 5th and two 7th.

THEN..............trade the two top 10 pics for the first pick in the draft and select Leon Sandcastle

With Alex Smith potentially being traded wouldn't that free up money to extend Goldson??  Or does Goldson want to test the free agency market??

Maybe goldston wants more then what the 9ers are offering? I like dude on our squad but I never knock a nfl player getting all the money they can.

As much as I wanna jump for joy about the trade... In not taking this serious until its set in stone... 9ers should get charged with robbery if it is indeed true...

I can see us trading for a big free agent :nerd:
