Good WIN. Too many injuries tho. Hopefully we get our groove back an fix our problems before we face houston.

i think so buts its 1a and 1b

corey lemonier looked like a mini aldon smith

glenn dorsey had a solid game

tramaine brock looked better today than nnamdi has at any point of the season

defense was great overall.

Staley is ok! Damn we dodged a huge bullet there

“@MikeSilver: Just walked to the bus with joe staley. He's fine. Hearing his fellow linemen goof on him for his initial reaction to injury was priceless”

Joe Staley was walking w/just a minor limp in the locker room & Alex Boone was howling with laughter mimicking Staley's on-field bellows.

Thank Sweet Baby Jesus for Staley. The way he was screaming, I thought he was done for the season :x

It took awhile for the offense to roll but they played a lot smarter and physical this game than the last 2 games. Stuck with the power running game and it paid off :pimp:

Bowman was on one tonight :wow: :pimp: . I was really worried how the defense would look without Willis and Aldon out there.

Safe to say Nnamdi should never see the field again for us? Brock def looked more stable as the nickel.

While his catches were nothing major, Baldwin already looks better than Kyle Williams.

Still gotta minimize the dumb penalties though. Spillman with that illegal block in the back on that punt return that negated Kyle's 21 yard return

Feels good to finally beat the Rams

Idk if the Rams were product of being overhyped but they look like they still got a ways to go. Defense looks decent and they probably would have better chance vs us if their secondary didn't all get injured tonight but Bradford and that offense look :x

Game balls to the defense for dominating tonight and to Greg Roman and our offensive line for paving the way for Gore.

Really hope this means the Niners are back. The schedule is set up in our favor. If we take care of Houston at home, should have favorable matchups vs Cardinals, Titans, Jaguars and Panthers. If we can get to at least 6-3 after that stretch, I think we'll be aite.

This fool Staley tweeted he's ok phew... Just like Lesean McCoy in that Chiefs game it was over dramatic ha

Nnamdi is a complete waste of a roster spot.
Bowman was in it tonight. Defence didnt lose a step even with all all pros missing. Og frank still looks in og form. This is the offense i miss. I wont eem be mad if kap is more of a game manager moving foward. He is more than a game manager but thats what helpls the team most right now.

Yea Nnamdi lost it. Brock was looking way better than him.

Seattle doesnt play as well on the road so hopefully they take a L againts houston. 49ers need to Win all these "statistically" easy games coming up.

Good win...
Getting harassed hard by my homeboys down here in houston....
We gotta stomp them, LAWD Please

I'm not one to be critical of the QB we invested so much in but there were times in week 3 the pockets looked protected well enough so that he could sit in it, but he got happy feet and ran around similar to how Manzeil does. The receivers not getting separation is a huge issue but when you scramble to a side of the field you cut the other side off and makes secondary job easier as long as you have a rover spying scrambling out of the pocket is the least of their worries. Now with that being said there's no way in hell and nothing that can convince me we were a better offense with Alex smith at the helm. Thursday if Baldwin is indeed active I hope to see some actual vertical throws just to keep those safety's honest. The two corners the rams have are good man to man guys but better zone corners. Janoris Jenkins is an Asante Samuel clone and is a gambler so we need to run slants early to set him up for the sluggo later. Rams are a team we can establish the run early and often also I foresee gore with 20 touches and hunter with around 10. Rams play us tough every year so this definitely won't be an easy game by any means. Bradford is one of the more accurate QBs in the league so they can't let him sit back pressure has to be there or it's gonna be a long night cuz those receivers are all slot guys that are agile enough to beat man coverage so we need to dial up the zone blitz but need to do abetter job of disguising it. Far too often it becomes abundantly clear when the niners plan on bringing 6 or 5th rusher. Gotta get this win.
they followed the blueprint. Weren't disguising blitz packages though more so because they were picking on rams tailbacks that couldn't pick up the the blitz regardless. Other than the two fumbles and the four straight three and outs we played like a elite unit. O line dominated and gore got 20 carries hunter got 11.

We got back to basics last night!!  Frank Gore ate and Kaep seemed to have control.  Very pleased with our play after a sloppy 1st quarter.  I'm also glad that Staley is okay.

Did anybody see the play 1st and 10 after the rams put 3 up Robert Quinn sack. It's the most bizarre blocking scheme play I've ever seen or maybe a mistake on Iupati. He let Robert Quinn free rush right past him in order to get to the second level.

I know it was a designed bootleg right but, you can't allow free rushers in the NFL and expect to buy time even on a roll out. That play needs to be thrown out or maybe have Big Mike stall him briefly.

it was a screen. iupati was to chip the tackle and get to the flat. the rams defended it well.

Harbaugh needs to get the team to stop committing silly personal foul penalties. Our secondary has been committing a lot of penalties too. (Im looking at you Tarrell Brown)

I realize it was screen designed for Kendall just odd that mike let him go so quickly on a designed bootleg right that kaep swung so wide on. seems like more time is needed on the backside. And it also ended up showing Roman if they are gonna pursue on the edges we can give them the middle slip screen. Which they ended up running in the third.

But you didn't see need for a little more of a hesitation from iupati?
