This man. After everyone pointed it out you can CLEARLY see for yourself in the episode grandma set up Joffrey to catch his fade the second she touched Sansa.

I wouldn't even consider it a spoiler honestly. I mean it's in the episode clear as day. That's not a spoiler.

It was a spoiler because it was not confirmed in the show. I can almost guarantee that the vast majority of those watching did not catch it. On top of that even though they showed the removal there was no clear link to it getting in the cup. All of the recaps online today even pose the question who killed Joffrey. There was nothing CLEAR about that sequence.

Before I read this thread I suspected her... This thread was confirmation which kind of ruined it.

Look... if you don't want things "spoiled" or even remotely spoiled then stay outta the thread. Similar to how you should stay off twitter/facebook if you haven't seen it. That's the way people are man, they gonna talk. Just gotta deal with it.

But to ask people to not talk about "theories" etc. then that's just asking a lot. I mean technically even though the evidence points to it, it's still all "theory." We have a few still shots but until next episode we don't really, REALLY know she did it.

Wouldn't be much of an assassination if we all saw it clear as day...

Right, if we can't even discuss who plotted the assassination (although obvious and im still scratching my head at these post) what would we even talk about? Cersei's hoverboob shot till next Sunday? Snow delivering the ether to the Night's Watch council?

It was the highlight of the entire damn episode last night. I think people are just looking for something to complain about. This is NT.

No it isn't obvious, lot's of people have it out for him.
Of course it was. Only two people had access to the cup that would have poisen him but his uncle. Everyone BUT Her needed Him alive for manipulation or family reasons.

The Wine or Pie couldn't have been poisoned as the whole royal line would have been killed.

I'm sorry if what I posted spoiled it for some of you guys. Really am, that's the last thing I was trying to do. I didn't think it would be that big of a spoiler but I could see how people would have wanted to figure it out/find out for themselves. Again, really sorry about that.
:-*

I mean, you had to know it was her. Its not really a huge spoiler. I just thought someone took something posted in the book thread and brought it here as confirmation.

Theories are fine. Long as no one goes as far as actually confirming.

I confirm its true.

I don't really know I'm just trolling you .

My first suspect was Lady Tyrell... I've never read the books or anything but that comment about killing people at weddings and her camera time during the Tyrion shaming had me thinking she done it.

Tyrells certainly have motive.  I don't see any of this as a spoiler in here... The clues are there and its not like Pro posted a screenshot of a page from the books.

Sansa
Marge
Tyrion
Ollena
Maester Pycel who was casted away by cersei
The jester

Was it the pie or the drink?

Some of the dudes in here clearly weren't in the True Detective thread... I can tell that much.

I know theres a difference because of the books here but the evidence last night was more clear than anything in that show and it was theory after theory after theory in there over every little clue and everything that wasn't a clue too.

ok so my thing is what exactly is their motive??? I mean, other than she just DIDN'T LIKE the little **** What do they have to gain? Her granddaughter didn't have no kids by him, so technically the throne is still going to go to a Lanister (Joffrey's lil' bro)

The answer to your who and why questions will be answered later in the season. :D

 Man dudes need to chill, that's not a spoiler, they can't blame you for them not catching on. As soon as dude grabbed her like the terminator "come with me if you want to live" they should've put 2 and 2 together. I haven't read online or the books yet. Unless i missed it being spoiled before the show.

Yea but I kinda posted the exact thing that happened in the books to confirm it, so I could see why folks are gonna get upset at my postings.

Once again there was nothing wrong with discussing the assassination. The part that you seem to not be able to comprehend is the difference between discussing a theory and confirming it because one has read the book. Every other synopsis/article about last nights episode asks the question "who killed Jeoffry."

Then it must be done.

To those of you saying it was brutally obvious, y'all need to stop.
For every viewer that does **** like go on forums to discuss the show and speculate on theories, there's 100 viewers that do none of that.

Fact is that dude used factual **** from the books to confirm what should've only been a suspicion to the regular viewing audience.

Proshares apologized so it's all good but the confirmation was somewhat of a spoiler that should be confirmed next week. No way around that.

Theon's clothes looked a little wrinkled in last night's episode.  Guess he didn't pay the iron price.

So it's all just speculation at this point, ya'll are the ones making it true by calling it a spoiler.

Yeah you ****** up then, it didn't even settle in yet.

It was not painfully obvious

I had no idea of the necklace thing. I remember her getting the necklace, definitely didn't catch olenna taking a jewel off. I'm not mad that it was spoiled, I'm mad that some of y'all are making it out like I should've caught it at first glance and that we were SUPPOSED to link everything immediately

I've never read a single word of the books.

But I could see they were leading up to a death in that last 15m+. I was literally saying out loud that Lady Tyrell is probably just going to throw a steak knife at this dude, as he went on and on. It felt obvious his time was up one way or another in this episode.

I could see Olenna becoming a more dangerous player in the game, cause I noticed they showed quite a bit of her in the ep, and she's always came across as very tactical and strategic in her conversations with anyone.

I didn't think she did wet work herself though, figured she'd have someone else do it through manipulation.
