I'm with you on most of that, but Tywin doesn't think ANYONE is awesome. He pretty much just tolerates everyone else. It's one reason that, while I hate him, I grudgingly have to admire him to a degree.
You guys check out those videos posted a few pages back? There's some good backstory about the Lannisters and how Tywin became a badass since he was teenager.

Penultimate episodes have not even good to the Starks. The whole wedding felt a bit uneasy, but as soon as I let my guard down and got comfortable with it all hell broke loose. Wow.

Was not expecting that ending at all

I was thinking how the Starks finally caught a break

They killed off like 3 main characters

What an ending!

Still in shock

You book dudes are annoying as hell.

I've read the books and I'm annoyed by some posters.

I came in here just to read reactions and some people just HAVE to let everyone know they know what's happening next. It's like how is ego involved with something everyone could read if they chose. People don't want to know future possibilities. They don't care that its different in the books or if they left something out from the books. Take that to the book thread. Stop dropping wink winks and hints. Let people decide on their own

Knew Robb's death was coming ever since I made the terrible mistake of looking up the characters history during the 1st season and seeing a big Born and Death date next to him..I was just like greatttt. But this was still very surprising still not knowing how he died. Robb dug his own grave (besides the obvious not marrying) when he decided to kill Karstark (seemed like the only other guy that was determined to end the Lannisters) because it was the right thing to do. Taking the same approach as his pops, and look where both ended up.

Also after seeing everything go down, I thought there was a chance that Lord Frey just took some random cutie and decided to call her the daughter just so Edmure didn't have second thoughts and backout last minute. Doing everything he can to insure the wedding went on as planned. Guess that was actually his daughter?

I really wanted to see the Starks get their revenge..oh well. Rooting for Khaleesi now. Girl's got them twinkle eyes for my man Daario, damn girl can't you make it any more obvious.

Also, what happened with Jon Snow? Did he really start chasing that hawk and left his girl behind?

Nah, he wasn't chasing the hawk he was just making his escape to Castle Black. That was his plan all along. Him killing Orell and saying what he said :pimp:

View media item 439092At the thought Arya had at finally seeing her family. With no one knowing Bran and Rick are still alive, does this make Tyrion king of winterfell at the moment?

My girl Khaleesi out there straight taking what she wants :smokin, realistically how far is she from Kings Landing, I know she stiil has to cross the waters.

Non-book reader myself, not sure if this has been answered yet but what is the background of the dagger used to kill the whitewalker by Sam.

She's pretty far. Check out the map of GOT. She's towards the bottom right and Westeros is to the far left.

When Jaime was getting his hand tended to in episode 7, was that the same area where Ned Stark beheaded the Night's Watch guy in season 1?

That was Harrenhal, way south. Ned killed the guy North of Winterfell.

THANK YOU

Ned beheaded the guy in Winterfell, Jaime was further south on the King's road. I think

So can no one stop the Lannisters? At this rate, there are going to be more Targaryens alive than Starks.

I think Robb's death brings the North back into the realm (no longer king's in the North), which makes Tyrion the lord of Winterfell at the moment.

My feels exactly since day 1. Thanks to this thread this entire event was spoiled for me so I just gave in and read the books. And even after reading the books, I still feel NO SPOILER TAGS SHOULD BE POSTED HERE. Any book material being discussed should be in the BOOK thread. Keep this as the SHOW thread.

with all the madness i forgot how much of a goon arya was in the conversation with the hound. said something to the effect of "im gonna put a knife through your eye to the back of your skull" pure piff

The soundless credits after that ending was just as chilling. Made you soak in everything you just watched.

Completely forgot about J Snow leaving Ygritte behind  Wonder what is to come of that :nerd: .
