Brans story the 2nd time around is better since you have more understanding of what's going on so you pay a bit more attention

Im thinking of watching GoT S1-4 a second time just because I feel like I missed a lot, especially his story, since there was next to no context until the end of last season.

The Bran warging thing gets pretty interesting in the books. Don't want to say too much, but there's an awesome tie in to one of the earliest moments in the books and in the show.

Had no idea it was a crow in the books but I'm gonna guess it's because ravens are generally physically beastlier and would appear so on TV?

That makes sense. Didnt know that. I had to google it. Without a side by side comparison I cant even tell the difference except for the tail feathers.

I only know the difference because I'm an animal nerd and the raven and crow population has exploded in Oakland in the last 5 years or so. We used to have a lot of red tailed hawks especially in the hills but the crows and ravens are literally fighting them off on some turf wars type stuff.

Soon they'll take over oakland like Pigeons in London. Pigeons in London aint scared of you at all. They act like you are in their way. They are worse than NYC pigeons. srs. At least pigeons in NYC know who's who.

In re: why they changed the word from crow to raven

If you're not a book reader, you should stop digging for explanations to things you don't want the answers to.

For the book readers:
Because his name is Lord Bloodraven and they probably wanted to keep it simple.

Nat Geo or Discovery Channel need to do a special on this. Those fights would be awesome to watch.
