Especially if they can get brought back to life by Thoros of Myr, who along with Oberyn is 1 of the best characters in the series

I was asking Zik because he said the brotherhood without banners will bring Ned and Robb back to get revenge.

I think Ned is probably the only main character that has died that I would not expect to come back. the dudes head was on a spike for a significant amount of time.

He said the BWOB had a magic thread to stitch their heads back together.

I don't know what this threads policy on book references are.... But Ned ain't coming back. If Ned comes back, I'm done with this show/book series as it will disappoint just like LOST did.

Did they cut off robb's head too or did they just hollow out his direwolf's head and put it on him?

Those Dornish women are beyond idiotic. Oberyn was one of my favorite characters, but he VOLUNTEERED to a fight to the death and lost because of his own arrogance. Going around and killing everyone who had nothing to do with it

The Mountain did rape and murder his sister and killed at least one of her children. Oberyn would have won the fight if he focused more on winning and less on getting a confession. He used the exact same strategy that Bronn would have used if he decided to fight for Tyrion. Bronn probably would have beaten The Mountain because he wouldn't be so obsessed with getting a confession.

And Ned isn't coming back. In the show, Catelyn has his remains if I'm not mistaken. Plus, Arya asks Thoros if he can bring Ned back and he says that he can't.

Oberyn did end up getting that confession from the mountain :pimp:

Was Oberyn the best fighter in the series? who is considered the best in the books?

I think as far as fighters go, wasn't Jamie considered one of the best, if not the best (before his hand got lopped off)? I know everybody thought he was a bum for killing the mad king, but I don't think they discredited his skills as a swordsman.

Probably Arthur Dayne and he got murked at the Tower of Joy.

In the show, Jaime (before getting his hand chopped off) and Oberyn are probably the best fighters. Barristan Selmy and Blackfish are also legendary fighters. Robert Baratheon was also an incredible fighter when he was younger before he gained all of that weight. Bronn is underrated imo. He's probably one of the smartest and dirtiest fighters.

No I did not

Did yall forget how the Hound died?

He aint coming back.

He was left dying, he didn't die. Anybody could have been walking by and saved him. And even if he was dead, isn't thoros roaming around the area??
I feel like the Hound is more dead than Stannis.

Ellaria wanting vengeance for Oberyn's death and being mad because his brother didn't go to war when Oberyn willingly volunteered for the trial by combat has always irked me.

The only one she should be mad at is Oberyn for not finishing the Mountain off before he started gloating.

She in full women logic mode right now.

He was like one of those football players that has a clear path to the endzone but drops the football in celebration before even crossing the goal line.
