Yeah I didn't forget about her but if you're a dude you have more rights and claims. I don't know how much better the story would be but it'd add something to see a Stark man be the opposite of Robb, Jon, and Ned. Bran was clearly on that path as well but now he's looking like he about to be a wise wizard. I got hope for Rickon though but even then there'd have to be a timeskip in the story for him to be a major player unless they turn him in to some child prodigy.

Sexism pretty much reigns supreme in this story. Outside of Dany who has her dragons and Melissandre who has her magic and religion the women play a backseat role. Even if they have power or are just as smart (Cersi, Olenna, Margery on the rise) some man will usually have a claim that'll supersede them.

And it doesn't look like until Dany becomes ruler that this show will kinda transition in to that British Empire status quo where they're okay with the Queen being the ruler and protector of the realm while not seeing a king as a necessity.
