true but the lannisters are just about money. outside of tyrion's superstar abilities to strategize, what does the family offer? cash and a one-handed wannabe knight.

they all factor big into the plot, sure, and the show is about all of them. and i admit my knowledge of the GoT universe is limited to watching the show and reading wikis about the books. but my point is that the starks and targaryens seem to have mystical connections to some sort of manifest destiny that other families do not. bran talks to trees and dany can withstand fire, etc.

Yall all wrong.

This show is about Podrick and Sam Tarley; saviors of the 7 kingdoms.
Nope wrong, it's about Bran the one true God and his powers.

The next time we see Bran he better have facial hair, the ability to levitate, and glowing white eyes

IMO it's about the starks and the targaryens. they are the bookends of the world, the ice and fire. everyone else is just filler in between.

but that's just on one level. the show is about a lot more -- the politics, the weird religions, etc. but when push comes to shove, the biggest movers and the ones who have shaped the GoT universe are those two families.
naw man, even for you show only watchers I would never think it's about Targaryeons. Starks partly but not targs.

we see just as much of the Lannisters as we do the Starks and Dany..
I think  @whywesteppin  is right and the story is ultimately about the Starks and Targaryans - moreso the Starks, who I think have yet to be revealed ties to the whitewalkers.  I think everyone and their mother knows by now that Jon Snow's father wasn't Ned Stark, but more likely rhaegar targaryan (who had him with Llyana Stark).

sigh... ok.

What if we get an episode that is either a whitewalker origin tale or takes us to the far north/lands of always winter?

Also why the **** are you guys trying to post spoilers then pretending they're guesses??

I understand that some of the things being posted are incorrect but still some are clearly copied straight off a wiki page, so what the ****?

You don't get points for being the guy that said the thing that happens. No one cares. Chill out with that. It's why this show thread has been locked in the past.

Yeah, I normally don't let that kind of thing bother me, but it has been getting a little out of hand since Hardhome aired. Chill peeps. The spoiler function is on the site for a reason.

I jus don't see how Jon dies. Dude is carrying the whole story on the wall. If we have to deal with just Sam up there I'm gonna lose it

You think we are going to see more of how the white walkers live/are. Maybe speak?
Not this season, perhaps next in an effort to give GRRM time to write the end.

Wonder who will GRRM gleefully and savagely murk on the next season.

Jon is already arguably the best Lord Commander in decades  :smokin
If he was so great, he would've gotten with that Wildling with the 2 kids in the last episode.

btw, was I the only who thought Dany was going to ask Tyrion to sleep with her? She said something like, "There is something I would like to ask of you." :nerd:

I think with Tyrion in her circle now, the guy she's been ******* will have to go kick rocks
