laugh.gif
Not sure if srs
Don't even let him know fam.

I haven't looked at Melisanbae the same since.

The necklace seems to be the power source of her glamour magic and she can turn it on and off. The glamour seems to still work if the necklace is taken off as seen in the pic posted on the previous page where Melisandre bae's necklace is off but still looking good.

People are saying that Stannis' wife saw her in her real (old) state in that tub.

In that scene, Stannis' wife is the only person with her and she seems to have a dumbstruck look on her face.

They either just didn't want to reveal the necklace as being magical at that point or they goofed by not including the necklace in that particular scene. I don't think the red women can turn the glamour magic on and off.

She also said that the magic doesn't work on True Believers and Stannis's wife is a True Believer but us the audience isn't. If it was a goof wish they'd just own up to it. This ain't Doctor Who, you can't pull that the thru the audience eyes trick.

Didn't know the part about the true believers thing. I think I remember stannis' wife having a weird reaction to her in one scene. So how many true believers has Melisandre bae been around? stannis and his army was fighting for r'hollor and the light but none of them believed in it.

Probably not a lot.

I would've had the dilemma of being really into those redhead yambs that I might've forced myself to believe but then I would've seen her true form that would've made me not want to believe anymore.

She was messing with potions in that tub scene. Thats what I heard some people claim being the reason why she still looked young. Either way it's not serious to me.

I can't really explain the tub scene. They probably just screwed it up by not having the necklace on her. But Glamour magic is something that can more or less be turned on and off. She uses Glamour in the books to switch the identities of Mance and Rattleshirt, to spare Mance's life (Rattleshirt gets burned alive by Stannis, who thinks he's burning Mance). The trick involves a ruby.

What do True Believers truly believe in? Is that yet another religious sect? I don't recall the explanation about True Believers in the show.

The seven are usless and haven't shown any power / miracles. new gods sound like from dc comics who are from geneis and apokolips.

:wow: one of my favorite characters in the show. his story telling, the way he talked to ollena and jamie. Made cercie walk the streets like an alleycat, made the queen repent, probably tortures her brother by his lonesome, all in the same outfit. :pimp:

I don't think Margery is really all in on the religious stuff. That's why she told Olena to bounce from Kings Landing. But she was sick of the torture, realized Tommen couldn't do **** and decided to fake it. If Cersei takes The Faith out, Margery will be right back to how she was before.
