Jon almost getting trampled and then them all getting pinned down was UNBELIEVABLE FILMMAKING

Like.. that was unreal. Well done, Game of Thrones.. well done.
It was beautifully horrifying. I was almost suffocating with him. Had to look away twice when it happened to more ppl.

Just plain great filmmaking and choices :nthat:

I think a lot of it was predictable. We knew that the Vale was going to save the day.. we knew that Jon wouldn't die.. we knew that Ramsay had to go.. and odds are, some of the good guys were going too. Best money was on Rickon, which is a shame because we got so little of his character and he's a stark. Wun Wun was also another obvious candidate.

But despite of all that, it was a masterful episode. The tension of Rickon and Jon racing towards each other, it made you hope and believe he'd reach him safely. The cinematography of Jon by himself dodging arrows and horses and swords.. and then the trampling and everyone getting pushed and crushed.. I haven't felt tension like that in a battle scene in a very long time. Maybe since the opening D-Day scene in Saving Private Ryan. I was anxious watching this scene.

The final showdown didn't fail to deliver either. Straight up beating the hell out of Ramsay.. and I'm glad they let Sansa have her revenge as well.

Man, Jon is a pretty badass warrior. Not quite at that level of the greats buy he was putting in work in those trenches

This was really one of the few times the show was predictable. its easy to say that after the fact. However, I wouldn't have been shocked if Jon got trampled. I wouldn't have been surprised if somehow Ramsey stabbed Jon after he gave up punching him. I wouldn't have been surprised if Davos or any of the major wildlings got killed. It certainly kept the suspense up having those feelings. Was it predictable.... Sure, but did I think the Starks were going to take their standard L? Yes, I was ready for the curveball.

RIP Wun Wun and Rickon
Amazing episode
As big j 33 big j 33 said it was predictable at times but it was greatly done so that element wasn't even a real issue and at the same time a lot of things could have gone another way. This is a win for the Starks, so Sansa is the Lord of Winterfell now. I assume that they'll get the other houses together to plan for whats beyond the wall

Dany with the triangle offense

They should of let ghost be the one mauling ramsay after killing the other dogs

Rip wun wun & rickon

Did lyana die?

Davos might off the red witch now that he figured out what truly happened

Probably top 3 episode ever of the series

Bruhs I'm still hyperventilating....lowkey due to the epic was of the bastardbowl we can't even absorb how cool Danny's part was as well...the 7 kingdoms deserve Jon on that throne....dude bleeds loyalty, type of leader dudes would jump on the guillotine for with no questions asked....one of the greatest written characters of television.

Damn the spoiler I read Ramsey didn't die. Dude was pretty on point with his spoilers too. Glad that was wrong

arya on the way back home too. Didn't Melisandre say the two of them will meet again? She better hurry, Ser Davos wants her murked next episode.
