He should've told Rickon to get down.
Dude ran in a straight line in an open field... Zig zag or do something.[emoji]128513[/emoji]

Thormund delivered the lols and the blood tonight.

Jon made Ramsay look like such a punk. Dude didnt land a single hit on the SnowGawd. Jon beat him perfect.

Wouldn't have helped man. Hunters hit deer and rabbits running wild at 50 yards. A 6'0" man is getting led and drilled by an expert archer.

Do you have a video of a hunter hitting a running rabbit at 50 yards?

I'm with the cats who say he could have zig-zagged.

You gotta keep in mind some of these ppl are just different. They've fully bought in to the unhappy endings of GoT so when the happy predictable storytelling starts they're disappointed.

Although I don't get calling that masterfully shot battle scene average or the ending.

Was it a happy ending tho?

Sansa sold her soul to littlefinger
The Starks, or whats left of them will forever be in debt to little finger
The so called powerful Northern houses didn't give any support to the Starks
Umbers who were extremely loyal and expected smalljon to betray ramsay, didnt do so
The Manderlys who owe the Starks everything, didnt show up
Rickon dies, only Bran is left to pass down the Stark name and he cant even get it up

Little finger is the one who controls the north now.

So again how was this a happy ending.

The Daenerys scenes were better imo and I am a big Dany hater

Battle was on point, even with the predictability.

But I want Dany and Yara alone together. Dany looked like she was down as well.

Looking at Ramsey's defeat again, killing Wun Wun when he was clearly defeated by the dude's storming Winterfell, bringing up the earlier duel challenge, and smiling as he was beaten totally sums up Ramsey.

I do get wondering why he didn't fight since he put in work against the Iron island men trying to save Reek but I think he knew it was over. Tried one last check to see if still scared Sansa and then died not believing his dogs would ravage him. Talking about loyal beasts. Its like he didn't understand his true nature.

And we all know even if Rickon was saved that he wasnt gonna live long.

With Bran missing he's the last known male Stark with a claim to winterfell.

Which means he's in the way of it falling to Sansa.

Which means he's in the way of LF wifing up Sansa and becoming the new lord.

Either way he was catching the ultimate L. He just got it sooner instead of later.

Wish the whole warriors team was in that cell with Ramsay. Bums let this man win a ring.

Co-Sign.. This victory is fools gold for jon and the starks.  I think he ends up on the road again by himself at somepoint

What happened to Lyanna? Anyone have an idea

I thinks it's clear Jon is Her and Rheagars kid. She made Ned promise to say it was his so Jon wouldn't be killed like the other targeryans. Plus I think Lyanna wasn't raped there was something going on with her and the prince.

Well I did just say storytelling even if the ice zombies weren't out there the next step for the Starks would be revenge on the Freys, Lannisters, etc. I'd expect more Ls for them before Ws. With the wights in mind you know it's going to be even worse than that.

So it's far from a happy ending but a happy duration that is due given its been 5 seasons of most good guys dying and being betrayed. Any victories being small ones or in situations where their lives are already ****** up due to past bad ****.

Sansa sold her soul to littlefinger
She got revenge on the man that raped and beat her, that killed her brother. She knows LF is ominous but she still don't know what he exactly is planning or his goals.

The fans can call him the devil and say she sold her soul but to her he's not close to that. Especially to her with the blunder when he sent her to Ramsey not knowing anything about him. A mistake he admits. So she knows he isn't all knowing and powerful.

Even for the viewer, outside of starting this chaos LF has only killed or had ppl killed. Not baby killing, massacres, rapes. The worst he did was send those harlots to Joffrey to be tortured and that's cuz Ros two timed him.

The Starks, or whats left of them will forever be in debt to little finger
Could be worse. I'm not buying trying to paint LF as this super evil villain. Dude just a very smart schemer that has managed to survive and prosper.

The so called powerful Northern houses didn't give any support to the Starks
**** em

They'll change their tunes now. I mean what else would they do? Side with the Freys and Lannisters? You think the rest of the North is really gonna turn heel now that Starks are running Winterfell again?

I mean Winter is coming so why wouldn't the North remember?
Umbers who were extremely loyal and expected smalljon to betray ramsay, didnt do so
The Manderlys who owe the Starks everything, didnt show up
**** em

Jon will have them killed or have someone loyal put in charge.

Rickon dies, only Bran is left to pass down the Stark name and he cant even get it up
Once Ned died there was never going to be a happy ending for the remaining Starks who wanted revenge/justice.

A good ending for any one of them would be the death of their known enemies.

Little finger is the one who controls the north now.

Ramsey deserved a gruesome death. Can't think of a more degrading/savage death than being chewed up by your own dogs. Loved that scene. Dog sniffs em, sizes em up, and says - dinner is served. Very fitting. Not even his own beasts were loyal to him.
