I like that theory actually and it'd be awesome if that's what we get instead of some other lame reasoning just for the sake of being "a twist".

Saw 2 funny Ygritte memes but can't post them because they're inappropriate.

One was "Jon knows two things: Nothing and how to eat !@#$%.

Ygritte - "Kissed by fire, effed by snow". :smokin

Buddha, I meant to post this the other day with our lineage discussion:

Jon was seeking further proof that Cersei's children couldn't be Robert's in Grand Maester Malleon's book The Lineages and Histories of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms, a ponderous tome lent to him by Grand Maester Pycelle. The book would have informed him, as it later informed Lord Eddard Stark, that whenever members of the houses Lannister and Baratheon married, their offspring always showed clear Baratheon features.[1][11]

More I think about it, the Stark's didn't know how to play the game.

They all got what was coming to them.

The Stark's never wanted to play the game really and they were never built for it.

Wanted to do too much compromising. Jut the way Cat acted throughout embodied a lot of big talk but no finesse in how their ultimate goals would be achieved. I mean they either got to play the game or be ruthless and be willing to let anybody be sacrificed. Drogo would've already killed Tyrion and Jamie no matter if his two women/daughters/wives died for it. Then kept trucking.

Ohhhh nice. That's clear now and settles it.

That must be awkward for that Baratheon/Lannister household when **** went down and the truth was revealed/spread

What would happen if George RR martin just up and died tomorrow. We'd all just be cliff-jung forever.

I'd almost anticipate him dying any day now. It'd be the biggest troll of al-time

While terrible, he told the TV executive producers how the story ends just in case.

Oh did he? I thought he was still figuring out how it end it.

At least we'd get that.

After Jason Gandolfini dying, every over-weight man over 50 needs to be on alert :rolleyes

Rewatching I'm really starting to see it this way. Way too much emotion involved in the way Cat and Robb (mostly Robb) went about things, which ultimately led to their demise. Sucks knowing how it ends for them and what's currently left of the Starks. Robb had a legitimate chance at challenging for the throne.

a coworker of mine said something the other day that really opened my eyes to the starks

Their honor made it impossible to play the game. They didn't want to be king on the iron throne and didn't want to rule the 7 kingdoms they just wanted to do what was right and be honorable

If you arent playing to win then you are gonna lose plain and simple

The Starks are deeper and stronger than these other families. In the same way Dany can waltz around and raise an army out of nothing, the Starks will always be able to reestablish themselves. They don't have to spend every last minute scheming.

And I know it looks bad for the Starks, but it's not like the Lannisters are that much better off right now. Everyone in the family is miserable, Jaime is missing a hand, and their king/heir is a psychopath.

This is true but they could've came out of this with only a crippled son. It's what could've been that makes it so much worse. From a story perspective I think theyy had to be taken out anyway cuz I can't really imagine how Dany would approach them and how Ned or any other Stark would react.

He already told the writers for GoT TV what happens at the end.
Yeah but the book readers would be royally screwed.

Jason tho?

started reading the books a couple weeks ago, finished the 2nd book, on the third now, kind of disappointed that it's starting to vary from the book but I understand that it must be done.

Dude I'm dyslectic when it comes to saying and writing the names Jason, James, and the Jimmy or any of those generic J names. Honest mistake. I've said James Gandolfini in numerous posts.

You shouldn't make fun of someone's medical condition. :smh:

completely not serious
