Pretty sure this whole season is still the 2nd half of the 3rd book.
they are sprinkling some things that happen in the 4th and 5th book in this season it seems (even some left over parts of book 2), but i believe most of this season will revolve around the 2nd half of book 3.

Okay, cuz from what I've heard, books 4 & 5 happen at the same time and there's a lot of filler.
So if there are only 4 seasons after this, with 4 books to cover...

I'm just waiting for the 'they caught up' panic to start.

I am not prepared for that  I think they'll give him next season and the season after that to at least get the next book out. I think they may be caught up to where the books are stalled right now after S6/2016.

It's a lot of filler but important stuff at the same time? IDK if that makes sense.

link Please?

PMed. there may be spoilers in that link. so beware if you haven't read the books.

Can you PM me the link as well

Just caught the 1st ep. Loved it. That last scene... The way Arya wiped the blood off the sword...ill. Can't wait for the rest of the season.

No freakin way any house beats the kalessi do u see how many men and how big them dragons are? C'mon. Only bran is strong enough to warp into animals or w/e, I hope down the line wether it be bran or Jon snow or whoever, the Starks get revenge :nerd:

i think its gonna be something internal that brings down Kalessi. this new dude is gonna be a problem, he already has GreyWorm going astray and throwning little nuggets in his ear about being his own man.

I don't need any spoilers but why didn't the wildings and those bald headed dudes fight?
Do they somehow have the same goal?

When they first encountered each other I thought **** was about to go down.

If the answer to this will include spoilers I'd rather not get one.

Thanks.

As much as the various factions north of the wall hate one another, Mance has been able to direct their hatred toward the Night's Watch.

But the Watch is skeptical, as shown during Jon's 'trial', that they could ever be united.

The wildlings are united because they don't want to get wiped out by The Others. It's for survival. They need to get past The Wall and keep heading South. This is what Mance said to Jon last season from the tv show wiki:

Arya earning her stripes :smokin

I think her character development has been incredible. To think just a few seasons ago, she was a little princes prancing around the room with a wooden stick trying to fit in with the fellas.

I hope she turns into a stone cold revenge hungry killah in this season, and at some point, see's her family again (well, what's left of them)...

I'm also kinda hoping Sansa steps up her g-code as well, tired of moping around and what not.

Sansa is softer than baby poo

Nothing Sansa can really do in her situation. She's not a fighter / warrior and she doesn't have any influence to play the political game. She's lucky the Martells look out for her along with Tyrion and Shae. Her best choice would've been to leave with The Hound but she thought he wanted to clap those cheeks all day and night.

Arya and the hound are gold. I love their characters.

Shay is getting annoying. I hope they take her head off next week.

I hope Jamie starts messing people up with just his left hand.

I CANNOT wait until Joffrey dies. I've never hated a character so much and his statue made me hate him even more lol. I hope he dies a grisly death..

I hope Cersei dies soon also. I can't stand her..

Tywin, Tyrion, Arya and The Hound are my fav characters.
all of this

I read they want to end it at season 7 since 7 is such an important number in the story. GRRM said he doesn't think the show will catch up to the books, I think he's the only one who believed that.

how many books are there

what an awesome start :pimp:

Just finished book 2 on audiobooks, on to book 3 .

Basically listening at every chance  makes workouts fly

Book 5 was published in 2011. The publishers said don't expect Book 6 before 2015. I think on average he gets one released every 4-6 years. I'm guessing we won't get the last one until 2020-2021.

I wonder how the show is going to cope with that.
