Read an interview by the actor who plays Theon who talks about last night's episode, we officially saw the death of "Theon" and the birth of "Reek." For a moment he was Theon again when he had the razor around dude's neck and could have sliced him when he was told Robb Stark died, but quickly became Reek again and did nothing.

I'll throw the article in a Spoiler just in case...

TVLINE | In the shaving scene, Reek certainly has opportunity and motive to kill Ramsay. But he doesn’t. Is that choice proof that he’s left Theon behind and become another person altogether?
Reek, for a moment, visits that old Theon again when he hears about that news of Robb Stark’s death, but I don’t think he is on the verge of slicing Ramsay’s throat. I don’t think that even crosses his mind for a second, because it’s far too big a step to take to do that. He is way too frightened to do that at that point.

TVLINE | How much did you know about flaying before you started doing this role?
[Laughs] I had no idea about flaying at all. It’s pretty gruesome. There’s something, which you’ll see later on, which is very interesting. It gets pretty cool. But no, I didn’t know anything about flaying. I didn’t even know what it meant… It’s awful.

TVLINE | The last update we had from the Iron Islands, Balon Greyjoy seemed to care less that Theon was in big trouble, but Yara decided to do something about it. Are we going to get to see her ride to her brother’s rescue?
Well, you’ve just got to wait and see, but there’s more to come from Yara, definitely. Gemma Whelan does a fantastic job of doing it ,and yes, I’m really glad that I get to do stuff with her… I mean, yes. She comes back to save me. So we will see what happens after.

TVLINE | Theon has either lost or been rejected by the authority figures from whom he’s sought approval — his father, Ned Stark, Robb. Do you think now he looks for Ramsay’s approval in any way?
Well, no, because he’s Reek – he’s a different person.

TVLINE | So you’re playing him as a completely different person?
Absolutely, yes. Absolutely. I mean, that’s the sort of turmoil he’s in, and it’s interesting to try and do it that way – and refreshing.

TVLINE | What can you tease about the general trajectory of Reek’s story this season?
It goes down, down, down… and then a little up.

The funny thing is the Internet had spoiled Joffrey's death for me, but I didn't know how so I thought the "Red Wedding" was when he was going to be killed

It's ****** up cause the internet ruined a huge spoiler for me with this show.

It hasn't happened yet and I stopped reading as soon as I saw it so I don't know how it goes down but I know it's happening.
It sucks I won't be able to share the shock with everyone else when it happens.

Yeah, like someone said a few days ago it's getting more difficult to avoid stuff. Part of the reason some people finished the books was so that we wouldn't get spoiled but it does take the surprise out of watching the show.

I'm glad most of the websites I frequent don't talk about GOT.... man you could just be casually looking at stuff sometime and outta nowhere BAM! A wild spoiler appears!!!!

Huge spolier for those wondering bout the pie.

Gandalf the Grey ordered the kill, all the hobbits will be coming out of the woodworks. The white walkers and anyone within the realm won't have a chance. The audience will finally realize that Game of Thrones was just a prequel to The hobbit.

Yeah this killed me as well. :smh:

I read a big spoiler about this season by accident. I can't wait for the scene to come up in the coming episodes but I wish I didn't find out about it. :smh:

Don't even joke about spoilers in here.. it's that serious.

As a precaution, don't read the comment sections on anything unless you trust the community and website. Youtube is out.. even things like the History and Lore series will have random spoilers in the comments. Don't read them. Don't google ANYTHING while looking at the search box. I've had things ruined for me when it autocompletes and tries to guess what I'm searching. So don't search any character's name unless you just look down at your keys

Reddit has a great system set up where you can discuss things and it's clearly labeled "All Spoilers" or "Spoilers for A Storm of Swords" or "Season 4 Spoilers" etc., so it's clear what topics you can and can't read. And the community is harsh about downvoting and reporting spoilers.

AV Club is another great choice. Their reviews and comment sections are divided into experts and newbies. And the same as reddit, they'll report and remove anyone with spoilers.

Nobody gonna talk about Maester Pycelle's old *** trying to acquire yambs

Was on that Wedding Crashers steez before Cersei came through with the c-block.

Read somewhere that someone slipped ricin into Joffrey's wine

I kind of figured it was .... since they kept showing her .... face for split seconds.

Too many spoilers in here.

I think some of yall are just slow  The old lady comes up to Sansa - forget her touching her necklace or w/e is missing after when she touches the cup - and gives condolences for the passing of her moms and bro cuz an assassination at a wedding was such a lowly thing to do. Basically saying I hope it doesn't happen here.

Then what happens? These are common literary and trope devices.

This whole it being speculated and somebody confirming it is bull ****. Stop whining and enjoy the show. We 2 eps in.

For the people that want a step by step dissection of the wedding scene, here is one that is great: LINK

Pretty crazy how it all makes sense now with what Olenna said to Sansa, "War is war, but killing a man at a wedding? Horrid. What sort of monster would do such a thing?" :wow: :wow:

I might be reaching, but did anyone catch a possible foreshadow when Olenna and Tywin were talking and she said something like will you do something exciting/fun before you die?
