I think it's hit and miss also. It's pretty much obviously inspired by Dreka.

Man its not commercial at all. Hard to complain about a few emotional songs geared at or about women when that's been his MO from day one or at least since Make Em Believe.

Bro I don't know what you're talking about. If 2 Phones is commercial than you gotta go ahead and label 90% Gates career commercial. 
Maybe that wouldn't be wrong, Gates stuff always been hard af AND radio friendly.
Hard For the only joint on there that's mainstream commercial.
Either way that's 2 songs and 2 Phones is a hitter. Saying the album iis a disappointment because it's "very commercial" is silly.

2 Phones is catchy as hell. If that don't get him radio play nothing will. I can see a lot of different people singing that **** and not knowing what it's about. Just off the fact everybody on they damn phone.

Man I find the hook concept a lil bit corny and I still been finding myself saying the hook multiple times a day.

The album isn't any more commercial than anything else he put out. You can say it may not be up to the same quality, but musically he's been on the same vibe for awhile now.
